The hotel has a perfect location — the sea is just a two-minute walk away, with beautiful beaches that were never too crowded. The old town is within walking distance, and there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed everything. The one thing I need to mention is that the "family rooms" all are directly next to a bar where they play loud music until midnight several nights a week. Expensive experience but is it really worth it if guests shout in the night and beach service is unfriendly. We stayed at Matoula Beach for a week in early October. Initially we were allocated a very small room. When we mentioned this to reception, we were transferred to a lovely spacious pool view room. The hotel had a pleasant relaxed atmosphere, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. A really comfortable stay - and highly recommended.

Great relaxing holiday - a bit out on its own, but everything you need onsite. You get what you pay for with this hotel. For people my age (20s) and if you want a party holiday it is completely ideal. Round the corner is a strip of bars and clubs open till 5am. It was so fun! It's only day 3 but the staff are impressive. They go out of their way to help in any way they can. Gym is one of the best I've seen in a hotel.
