The hotel has a great location, and the view from the room is beautiful! The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent. However, the showerhead had a weak water flow, and it took a long time to get hot water. Also, there were two power outages during our stay.

We adored our time staying here! Travelling for 6 weeks (and with a toddler) our breakfast with that incredible view was honestly a standout of our entire journey! Nicholas and his colleagues were wonderful and we thank them for making our stay on Santorini magical.

Lava Suites is perfectly situated in Fira, out of the Centre but very close to it. The hotel itself although a little run down has great views from the communal area (and one of the suites) but has fantastic staff that make the stay very pleasant.

The reviews don't do this place justice. The junior suite we stayed in was lovely, especially for the money we paid. The room was small but adequate. It was clean and tidy. The hot tub was lovely and warm. The views are stunning and it is in a great location, although it is hard to find initially. Our only negatives would be it was very difficult to check in as we were delayed and arrived late....

Location and view were of course amazing. We enjoyed the exterior jacuzzi. At night it was noisy + the smoke from the restaurant below just in front of us... , but in the early morning it was beautiful and quiet. The property was close to downtown and shopping. Bus station was also close by so very easy. Pool was small but clean.

The pool was filthy and we were told it was due to the prior weather issues in the area which was an unbelievable reason for it when all the other pools in the area were crystal clear. They did nothing to clean it. They lead you to believe there is a jacuzzi but they are inoperable. The front desk does not want to be bother and are not present. They take there time to respond.

I stayed at Ambience Suites during the off-season in Santorini when there was a small earthquake, but I had a wonderful 3-day stay and left with only good memories. We stayed 21st - 28th sept only small hotel 6 rooms. Staff are excellent couldn’t do enough for you. We had superior suite which is largest and for price can’t beat it.
