Karidis Hotel in Kamari

Cute little family hotel. Nice pool, decent breakfast, very nive personnel

We have just spent the last 8 days at the Karidis hotel. It is such a beautiful little hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast/cleaning staff were amazing and always had a smile on their faces and helped with any request. The beach is about a four minute walk away with plenty of bars and restaurants and views to die for! There is also a bus stop right outside, where for two euros you can get to Fira. The room was comfortable and extremely clean and well kept.

Breakfast was absolutely fine for us. With pastries, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yoghurt and Greek meats and cheese, coffee and orange juice. All absolutely lovely with both outdoor and indoor seating (but with a view of of the mountain and buzz of the street why would you want to go indoors?).

This is our second time to this hotel. Can’t fault it. Ideal base to Kamari less than 5 minutes to the main strip of the town. Supermarket over the road and plenty of restaurants and shops with in easy walking distance. Rooms have plenty of storage . Bathrooms have toiletries to use. Clean towels daily. Rooms cleaned everyday. Kettle fridge and mugs. Safe free to use as is air conditioning. We stayed both visits in room 13 love that you can sit and people watch as it was the end balcony. Pool lovely area new sun loungers. Breakfast is basic if you choose to eat lovely fruit and Greek yogurt. Staff all friendly every where clean and smelt fresh . Would definitely recommend and return

My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in September, hotel is really handy, beach and plenty of restaurants couple minutes walk away, also we walked to open air cinema so would recommend that. Buses go regularly to Fira from bus stop right outside the hotel only €2. Reception staff really friendly and helpful and they left a lovely cake for my daughter’s birthday. Room was fine shower very small and curtain didn’t keep the water in the shower tray so floor flooded everytime we used it. Room tidied everyday, our room was over looking the pool so quiet although our balcony was very small not really enough room for 2 people to sit out together. Breakfast was basic but fine to get the day started. Glad we stayed in Kamara away from the bustle of Fira and Oia as they are very busy with 1000s of cruise ship visitors every day.

This place was simple but great, the beach is near as well as lots of interesting restaurants. The bus stop is about 7 min from the hotel by step. The host was nice and friendly and in the morning ladies working in the kitchen were great looking at everything we needed, including real good hot chocolates. Unfortunately the pool wasn't warm but we had a great view of a mountain beside. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we had a great time staying at this place.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Karidis Hotel. Small but very clean and everything you need, even pool towels provided. Very convenient to the airport and the town of Kamari is beautiful with long beach and plenty of lovely restaurants. The Taverna Sallada directly opposite Karadis is definetelty worth a visit. Food is excellent 👌

Lovely friendly staff, very helpful. Room spotless and cleaned every day. Brilliant location, 5 minutes to beach and restaurants. Would definitely return. Loved the breakfast, basic but delicious.Hired a quad from neighbouring business which was also so friendly and helpful.

Recently stayed for a week in September. We found the hotel to be in a very good location to bars, restaurants and beach. Stayed in a triple room which was very clean but bathroom was very small and out dated. We had a problem with the aircon as the doors to balcony didn't shut properly. We didn't sit around the pool area as the sunbeds looked very outdated and dirty. Breakfast was ok but when busy was hard to get to cups and plates etc. This could be better organised . If you had a room on the road side I would imagine this would be very noisy as its a busy road with lots of coaches going down. All in all a good stay and nice small hotel just needs a few things updating. Santorini is a beautiful place!

Just returned from a weeks holiday here. What a lovely place to stay. The room had everything you needed good size fridge air con and a free safe. There was a kettle and cups. Plenty of storage space . Room was cleaned everyday fresh towels supplied. Pool towels changed twice. The breakfast was continental bacon eggs were available. We stayed by the pool area sunbeds available. The location is just on the outskirts of the main strip. Supermarket across the road do try the Santorini white wine €3:50 for 1.5 ltr. Plenty of restaurants to eat in good quality food. We had a lovely time and have already booked to come back next year The staff are all friendly and the whole place is spotless and all deserve a good praise .

We stayed at the end of June into July. Fast check in. The room was all we needed. A DOUBLE BED! First time on any holiday,fridge, tv, free safe and aircon. It’s a small hotel on the edge of town but there’s tavernas all the way on the walk to the beach. Small pool with a few sunbeds, never crowded.The breakfast was all you needed to start the day. Cereal, fruit, pastries, yoghurt etc…. Anyone wanting a late drink must use the onsite fridge. Glass of wine €2 and a mythos €1.80 sit on the terrace and people watch. We often did this and were brought bowls of crisps whip was very kind. The tax was around €20 for the week. Great little hotel in a great spot. Would stay again no problem.
