Nostos Beach in Kamari

I dont like to leave negative reviews but the service was appalling, and reading the other reviews, i see we were not alone.
I visited the restaurant with my fiancé and my friends who were staying locally as we happened to be on holiday at the same time and hadnt seen each other in 9 years. The sunbeds are lovely and thick which is why my friends chose it, and ordered cocktails, planning to order lunch and spend the day on the beach.

We had to repeatedly ask for water and only received the cocktails, the staff were all on their phones by the bar whilst the young boy was serving.
We asked 3 times when we would be expecting our food as there were only 10 people in the restaurant (bearing in mind we all ordered pasta dishes which take 10-30 minutes maximum) and each time were told theyd check the eta, but would then ignore us whilst on their way down to collect orders on the beach and returning to their phones at the bar.
After an hour and a half we gave up waiting, and had to wait a little while more to get our bill for the cocktails, to which the boy apologised for the service. Again, it is not his fault, but the rest of the team really let him down.
Very disappointing as we would have happlily spent money there throughout the day.

Trash place - don’t come here. Paid up front in euro for two day beds in which we asked for towels as well (not included extra charge). We waited for 45 minutes before the towels came and someone came with a menu. They did not bring the right amount of change back after I paid up front with cash. Never came back for a drink order, only 1day bed waiter, fleeced us at every chance they got. No one else was served a drink for over 30 minutes. Negative rating

The place looks pretty, colorful and flowery. Unfortunately it’s not clean and in general it’s old: the furniture, windows, doors. Everything is rusty and doesn’t work properly.
The towels are either many years old, or they don’t use fabric softener at all. It feels like sandpaper.
The service was also disappointing, they kept forgetting orders and didn’t give attention to clients in general. “Yes yes” but then things did not arrive.
Not a good experience, wouldn’t recommend it.
