Ifigenia Hotel in Skiathos Town

Loved this hotel! Owners Could not do enough for you … perfect location near main bus stop and 2 minute walk to main shops and bars … lovely breakfast served until 10.30am. Pool added bonus and often had it to ourselves .. Room great with towels changed regularly .. coffee kettle fridge and hairdryer .. Highly recommend perfect all round .. will defo be back x

Excellent stay at the Ifigenia Hotel. Great room with wrap around balcony. Air con, safe, fridge and kettle. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Towels and bedding changed regularly. Lovely buffet breakfast. Right next to Bus stop 0. Last but not least Akis and his family are wonderful and create a welcoming and relaxing place for you to enjoy your holiday

Just back from a week at this lovely hotel. Akis and his family were warm and welcoming. We had a top floor room with a sea view. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Free toiletries, safe and air conditioning. There was plenty of variety for breakfast, this was self service and filled up constantly. Located very close to bus stop 0, handy for visiting the other resorts but still close with everything town has to offer . Would definitely recommend.

We had passed this hotel many times and wondered what it was like to stay here. It met all our expectations and we had a great holiday. We were shown to a small room overlooking the garden and no balcony which was'nt what we wanted. However the guy ( sorry forget his name ) agreed we should have a balcony and bigger room for a two week stay. We were offered a choice between two others and plumped for a room at the front of the hotel. Even though we were overlooking the main busy road coming into port , the noise never bothered us. The room was quite large and had everything we needed, even air conditioning in with the price. A big enough fridge for our needs, a kettle, massive double comfy bed and TV. The shower room was ok too with a modern shower cubicle, no hot water problems. Breakfast was very nice, good coffee machine, home made jams and cakes, plenty of choice to start the day. Pool area was nice and clean however the pool bar was'nt running. There was a lot of noise from the school over the wall but this was expected, good sunbathing suntrap though. The hotel is in an excellent location, next to the bus terminal and two minute walk into the port. Overall a great place to stay run by one of the friendliest families iv'e come across in Skiathos.

Should you wish your accommodation experience to be warm and welcoming then this is the hotel for you. You are greeted by smiles and reassurance from the moment you walk through the entrance to reception. A family run business with a conscientious team willingly helpful to make your stay memorable. For us they couldn’t do enough as at the time we were caught in those horrific storms and had to extend our stay on a day to day basis not knowing when our plane was due in. The rooms, of which we had two during our time, were clean and very tidy, and each equipped with a fridge and kettle. Towels, soaps and shampoo were supplied and if necessary replaced daily along with the bed being made up each morning. The swimming pool was an extra treat and it’s position enjoyed the sunshine through most of the afternoon. In the morning breakfast was served (8.30 to 10.30) and that was a bigger treat having the variety of all the foods and beverages we like to eat and drink, and should anything run low it was immediately topped up. Perhaps the hotel’s location is a pleasing feature being just on the edge of town and close to the initial bus station, so you get the opportunity to stroll through town or easily plan your bus journey somewhere else on the island. About 300-metres up from the hotel you had a smashing supermarket and heading into town across the road a smaller stores. The friendliness and kindness shown towards us virtually guaranteed a return stay. Thank you.

Clean and friendly hotel. Rather old fashioned decor. Basic pool. Right next to the bus to the beaches. Enjoyed our stay very much. Having a dip in the pool with breakfast is a joy.

Very decent place to stay

Nice hotel, basic, nice continental breakfast, ham/cheese, pastries, coffee machine, squash no juice,. TV only Greek no world news, fridge dosnt work, quite dark rooms, small pool, overal nice place to stay while your out every day.

Descent hotel , in best location, near skiathos center, supermarket, and hotel bus if needed. Staff are great and helful, they offered services even not supposed to. ( They took us to airport to pickup our rented car) . Breakfast offered is the typical greek hotel ( bread cheese turkey eggs and amazing home made marmellades )
