Thank you so much to harriet and monika for our most fantastical holiday. The most perfect little friendly hotel you could wish for. Ideally placed to explore the quaint town of skiathos. The taverna on an evening is a gastronomy delight. Hopefully to return soon and cant recommend enough to family and friends. Xx

Mouria is an absolute gem. Right in the heart of the old town and a 2 minute walk from the port. Everything is accessible and within easy walking distance. The rooms sit above an authentic beautiful Greek taverna. Sitting on the balcony in the cooling evening breeze feels wonderful. The beds are really comfortable and we slept really well. All the staff were really friendly and we had a genuinely lovely stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, you will love it.

Can’t ask for better hosts,Monika is a machine. The staff and Harriet and her son go above and beyond to ensure your visit is brilliant. Even to the degree of providing the garlic butter and rolls for us to take to our room. Great location for our 11 night holiday. Many thanks to you all. Steve and Charlotte.

Had a fabulous stay at the Mouria Tavern. Super comfy beds spotlessly clean and a different breakfast every morning that set us up for the day. WiFi aircon and safety box all included in the price. Areti the owner and Monica couldn’t have done any more for us. We ate several times in the courtyard restaurant that is ran by Nikos, Areti’s son, we had some of the best food on the island there and would highly recommend.

My 2nd stay and booked for next year before I left, just off Papadiamanti, quiet, friendly, welcoming, bright, spotless and modern rooms with air con, safe and own fridge, great value for money, nice little communal area to make a cuppa or prepare a sarnie and a nice big fridge to store big bottles of water, food is as fantastic as the beds are comfy.

I couldn't wished for a better stay! Room number 2 overlooks the beautifully decorated courtyard, and I just love chilling on my balcony! Both the hotel and the taverna is run by the same family, and the food served here is homemade, authentic Greek and delicious. Monika ensures that we have everything, keeps the place spotless, and is happy to assist with every query we have had. The hotel is positioned in the heart of Skiathos making it a wonderful location as it is close to all amenities, shops, bars and restaurants, old and new ports, bust stop, water taxis, etc. I have found my spot on the island and already planning next visit to this one of the oldest and magnificent properties on the island.

Well, here I am, back again for my second year and third stay at this fantastic town centre hotel. It feels like a second home, you are welcomed by Harriet as if you are part of the family. Let's not forget Monika who keeps the rooms clean and tidy and beds made daily. Plus Niko, Harriet's son, who has the fantastic courtyard restaurant where the food is exquisite. Hope to be back again later in the year. xx

This is a lovely place to stay, in the heart of town but surprisingly quiet at night. Beds are so comfortable, rooms are beautifully clean, shower has good pressure, breakfast was delicious and plentiful and hostess was such a lovely lady. Would definitely stay again.

We had breakfast here. The food was fine, quite average, but the service made the difference. The waitress was really kind, funny and very pleasant. She definitely made our visit much nicer:)

overall very nice hotel with amazing location and view of the harbour , renovated and clean , but it is a not value for money choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is kind .

We visit the place to eat, pancake and a Caesars salad. The tastes were below good.
2 stars just only for the waitress that is working almost alone, people waiting to order and the stuff is chilling, drinking and don’t pay attention to the customers.

I recently found myself unexpectedly staying at Hotel Meltemi due to a weather advisory that prevented my water taxi from traveling to Skopelos. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a surprisingly pleasant experience thanks to this gem of a hotel.
From the moment I arrived, the Maria at the front desk made me feel welcome and taken care of. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The room was quaint and all I needed. The level of service was outstanding, efficient and genuinely friendly. The pricing felt reasonable and fair, which is rare when you’re in a bind like this.
