This was our third stay at this hotel. We spent a week at another property first but decided we would like to stay on the island a further week. We walked past Hotel Kostis every day and decided to ask if there was a room available so that we could stay a further 7 days on the island. All of the staff are friendly but the owner Konstantinos (sp) is exceptional. She is so helpful and helped us find a nearby room for one night only and we then spent six nights at the Kostis. It is located in a lively street with various cafes and restaurants nearby. The street has real Greek character. Very central and perfectly placed for us. Comfy beds good bathroom and shower and nothing was a problem here. Real good value for the price we paid. Would not hesitate to recommend it if you are looking for good value clean accomodation in a great location.

Hotel Kostis was great value and overall perfect for what we needed. It’s a basic hotel room, no bells or whistles, but the location is perfect, right in the core of all the shops and restaurants. The staff and owner are wonderful, friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel is clean and cute, if a tad dated, but for the price and location I would not complain at all. We were in Skiathos for the end of summer stormy weather, so, there wasn’t a lot to do indoors and being shoulder season. But overall our stay was very pleasant and the hotel is cute and affordable. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This is a basic but spotlessly clean hotel. We just stayed one night on our way back from Skopelos. Its central location is great and the hosts very welcoming and friendly.

Very well located, just off the Main Street and easy walking distance of port. Fabulous cafe next door (Il Posto) for great breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff.

Good points: Cental location, close to everything Clean basic rooms, with Air-con, Fridge, TV Quite modern bathroom with good powerful shower Hotel owner very nice and approachable Kettle & cups in room Not so good points: Noise issues, of our 7 nights 4 nights we hd noise from surrounding rooms and balconies intil 5am. Did inform the owner but seems like this is more of an Hostel than an Hotel where people tend to say 1-2 nights maximum. Every small nosie can be heard. Cups had not been cleaned, tea/coffee never replenished. We did buy our own coffee/tea in the end. Conclusion: This could be a very good hotel if little changes are made. If its to be run as an Hostel rather than an Hotel, please make this clear at booking stage

Absolutely perfect.
Wonderful service, spotless rooms, comfy beds. Right in the centre of skiathos. Breakfast was across from the hotel in the little cafe. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is basic but the price reflects that. It is clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room had 3 beds in it. Basic and clean as was the wet room. It is situated in a charming street in the centre of town with a bit of a buzz in the street, my wife liked to sit on the balcony on a morning watching the street come alive. The same street was noisy at times through the night. Maybe take some ear plugs or ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. The location of the hotel was ideal for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. In fact we’ve tried to book it for next month but it was full for the dates we required.
