The room definitely needs updating. There was ants, it smelt like sewage and a few things Broken, when the room was cleaned didn’t seem like anything was done, just the bed made. Even though the hotel is an older one, service was excellent - the staff was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were excellent and the rooftop view was a fabulous one. The elevators are busy in the morning as can be the breakfast bar at around 8 so get to there early!

It was very nice, as expected of a first-class hotel with a long history. It's located in Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, so it was convenient to go anywhere.

Overpriced and room with no view! Totally overrated hotel.

Great location. We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious. I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake.

Overall a good stay. The only issues I had is that my room was next to the cleaning persons room. So it was very loud in the morning and the doors in the hallways slam shut so that woke me up several times throughout the morning.
