To be honest his place is not great. Good location, decent Wi-F and Nico’s bar were all plus points but aside from that I think there are better places. The hotel is run down and although I had a pretty decent and spacious room judging by the reviews others were not so lucky. The included breskfast option is disappointing. I think the holiday buffet is a key part of this kind of holiday but here they offer the bare minimum snd that is of a basic level and quality. The hotel seems to have a lot of regulars who visit every year so they must be doing something right. Nico’s bar and the staff there were so hospitable and friendly but overall this hotel was not for me

We had a really lovely stay at **Plessas Palace. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable, which was all we needed. The shower always had hot water, and the bed was comfy – perfect after a day in the sun. The pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds, easy access down the steps and the cocktails from the bar were fantastic (we had a few!). The hotel is in a great spot too, with loads of bars and restaurants just a short walk away, but not noisy or too busy. We ate at the hotel a few times and were really impressed – the food was delicious, so definitely worth staying in for dinner some nights. Overall, we had a really relaxing, stress-free holiday. The family and staff can't do enough for you and are so friendly, so much so we have already booked to go back next year! Definitely recommend it.

What a fantastic, friendly, family run hotel Plessas Palace is. Me and my now husband stopped there with our wedding party of 40 guests. Niko changed the barbecue night for us. Which was the night before the wedding. They made sure we had the most amazing time. Maria is so welcoming and accommodating. And their family are just incredible lovely people. We will definitely be returning in the near future

A beautiful family run hotel with the most amazing staff who were friendly, professional and lots of fun! The cocktails at Niko’s Place were top notch and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and had all the essentials and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool/garden. Conveniently situated within a 5 to 10 minute walk from numerous bars and restaurants, we will definitely be returning in the future.

Arrived here in mid August with my 17 yr old daughter who was sharing with me any my lovely friend who was booked in a similar room. We were all put in rooms classed as 'garden view'. Yes, the rooms were basic but I have stayed at a lot worse and the rooms were really big and very clean. What makes this hotel stand out really is the staff, they make you feel like family and the food is amazing!! think we ate our own body weight in tatziki and pitta bread! The pool was lovely albeit the usual dive bombing wasps and insects drowning in there (which I tried to save daily) and no trouble getting sunbeds. There are some amazing restaurants just down the road (if you turn left coming out of the hotel). I actually needed to see an emergency doctor whilst on holiday and the lady on reception arranged for someone to pick me up and took me straight to the medical centre (they do check if you have insurance - only a fool would go abroad without insurance!) I was seen within the hour and back at the hotel with my medication - amazing! Christian who works the bar and the tables in the evening was literally entertainment on his own, cheeky and funny and every attentive, we had so many laughs. yes, you pay for air con, but its worth it, also you pay for safety deposit box. You don't want to pay, don't have it! ALL the staff were amazing, and all 3 of us had such a fantastic fun and relaxing time, we would deffo recommend!

I had a wonderful peaceful relaxing holiday with a complete shutoff from all the news. Nothing but swimming in the sea, relaxing on the beach and deciding where to eat dinner. There were some small, presumably baby turtles in the sea. Evidently there were some nests on the beach. It is probably best to book directly with the hotel. That way in includes the cost of the air conditioner which otherwise may be charged as an extra. The hotel has replaced the loungers around the pool with much more comfortable models. I have already paid the deposit for next years holiday.

Absolutely shocking accommodation! The anex at the back of the main hotel isn't fit for purpose! It's disgusting, the worse accommodation I have ever stayed in! Never ever ever go back to that hotel again! No smoke alarm, some sockets didn't work, the bathroom got flooded when showered, don't let me get started over the fridge 🤢 shocking accommodation!

We had stayed here 15 years ago and decided to go again. What can I say except it was even better than the first time. The photos on Trip Advisor are not up to date as the pool area is much improved with plenty of comfortable sun beds with thick mattresses on and lovely sun shades. We were on the third floor and had a lovely view of the mountains on one side of our balcony and the pool at the front. Very close to lots of bars and restaurants, all within an easy level walk. An easy stroll to the sea. Very clean, albeit basic room but all you need for a holiday. Towels and bedding changed several times in our two week stay. Air con. and safe you pay for, air con. very good and definitely needed it at night. There is a lift so made the suit case carrying easy. There is now a really lovely restaurant on site, the food is superb ,although we tried various restaurants in the resort the food served here was the best! All good prices in the restaurant, Happy Hour every day 6pm-9pm. Amazing bar(Nikos' Place)-Nikos really is the best host, always a smile and a joke and so friendly. The bar staff were all excellent. All in all I would definitely recommend Plessas Palace. and look forward to going again. Thank you Nikos for a lovely holiday, hopefully it won't be another 15 years before we see you!

We found this hotel to be good value for money. I think people who posted negative reviews forgot that they booked the cheapest option. You get what you pay for! It’s also Greece and accommodation is always more basic than Spain Turkey etc Positives - Great views over the mountains. Very clean rooms, cleaned daily. Nice pool area, no rush for sunbeds. Relaxed vibe. Good quality food and drinks. For the money we paid, it had everything we needed. Negatives - We didn’t mind the walk but it’s on the edge of town and our child got a bit fed up by the end. Wayyy too much chlorine used, everyone was rubbing their eyes. Pushing for cash on arrival for air con and tax, not everyone has cash out yet, maybe be more flexible with card.

Just back after a fabulous 2 week stay in Plessas Palace ,first time in Alykanas and will definitely be back ,can’t praise the friendly and accommodating staff enough ,made our stay so enjoyable ,lovely pool area in a beautiful setting ,close to all the bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to beach ,great hotel bar with Greek night ,quiz night,bingo night and the all important pool table which kept our son occupied ,will order transport if needed for you for airport transfer or visit to Zante town etc look forward to returning in the future
