Hotels on first line in Zakynthos

There is a choice of pools with some pools being just for toddlers. The water park looked good fun

Stayed here as a family for a week and whist I am happy we got our money's worth and it was decent value, there are a few details i believe the hotel could do which would have made our stay 5 Star

Firstly cannot fault Jet2, from booking the holiday originally, we were kept up-to-date including check ins, and when it came to the airport there was staff on both sides that kept us informed and were very friendly, ensuring we were on the right path to the transfers and having local information for them

I also got a text with emergency details and there was a rep on site several days to help anyone. The rooms were great, highly recommend block U if can btw, very clean and well maintained

The facilities were great, the waterpark was great and the staff looking after the slides were funny and friendly but were quick to ensure kids were always safe and kept a good eye on the younger ones/armbands etc The restaurants were great, usual stuff at breakfast and plenty of it including fresh crepes which were wonderful

The entertainment staff work extremely hard and I became good friends with some of them as if we are happy, they are happy. They can put things together but its up to us to join in and believe it or not enjoy yourselves

Our room overlooked the pool, a peaceful, elegant scene that looked like something out of a dream. We thought it might be noisy being so close to the water, but it was the opposite: pure silence

The hotel itself is modern, clean, and stylish, with spacious rooms, many with their own pool, lush gardens, relaxing pool bar, and excellent food offerings

As soon as we stepped out of the car, someone gently took care of our luggage, welcomed us with a glass of wine, and handed us a plate of fresh fruit and dessert to celebrate our honeymoon

The only thing I would say was that when you were outside by the pool, there wasn't that many toilets close by, especially if you were less able but there were some about 2 mins walk away for most guests

Overall a lovely short break and introduction to the hotel brand and Zakynthos. The hotel was very quiet as towards end of season. Might be a bit of a struggle round the pool in peak season

The staff, who were amazing cleared tables so quickly and any items running low were filled immediately. Area: unfortunately Laganas is a bit scruffy but there are good walks along the beach

Room: spacious with plenty of storage space, very quiet, extremely comfortable bed and good pillows. Outside: good size pools, so clean they sparkled. Plenty of comfortable sun beds

Hotel is well located in katanas away from the big night nuisances of the summer. The hotel got a big swimming pool but it was cold during our stay. The reception girls are friendly and nice

Drinks throughout the day was on hand beer wine cocktails was all there all local stuff of course. Food during lunch time was good BUT the pool bar made pizza all day and damm they were VERY VERY GOOD 120% rated on pizza

Nestled close to the beach, as well as numerous restaurants and shops, it provides easy access to the vibrant atmosphere of Laganas

You can get food from 8am till 9pm as there is a snack bar that runs from 10am-6pm and the restaurant is Breakfast 8-10 Lunch 12. 30 Dinner 7pm-9pm The entertainment on a night is ok

The staff are very helpful and kind. I can not fault the hotel at all. The food was great my girls are very picky and they did not go hungry

Now - the beach itself is a bit treacherous - the water is amazing, but there's many sharp rocks and pebbles that make going into the water a very slow and painful ordeal

Our first impressions of Tsilivi Beach Hotel were great, the lady at reception who checked us in was lovely and very welcoming

Sunbeds were plentiful unless you get the beach end you will need to move with the sun. Beach also had sunbeds and the sea was a lot warmer than the pool

The pool area is lovely, the pink flowers along the balcony’s really add to the aesthetic of the hotel, however, we think this may be the reason the for number of flies and wasps which bother you all day

Food was tasty , nothing to write home about, but who does when your all inclusive, my room 429 was perfect for me and my son, lovely views over the pool and sea, I must add that I paid slightly higher for this room, but only around 70 pounds each for me and my son, for a 1 week stay

The pool is very cold, we managed to get into it, the sea is definitely warmer than the pool, but in October you wouldn’t expect it to be warm

The hotel is nicely located in the Alykanas part of Zante the pool is beautiful sadly water is cold so we went wrong time of year to enjoy it in October however was nice sitting round it there were no pool towels provided I was annoyed that they charge €10 per night for city tax as they call themselves 4 star it's less for 3 star AC and room safe are chargeable too which was weird to me No English...

Mixed reviews on this hotel, pool area was amazing with great staff who are very attentive, we had a waiter everyday who was great, but unfortunately didn’t get his name, hotel was very basic for a 4 star hotel, we had multiple issues with our room, with shower drain leaking across the bathroom, no shelves for toiletries, the shower was tiny and had a wire coming out of the wall, toilet seat broken...

Unsure if we would return to this hotel due to the hotel standards and the area being quieter but that could be due to the time of season we come out

Been here lots of times because of friendly staff and glorious location Staff 5* attentive at checking in Bar staff fabulous and always friendly /helpful

If you want to five star pay for it. This hotel was value for money and we all had a fabulous trip!

The area around the hotel was great, with our favourite bars being DNA, Iguana and Cuba bar, all very welcoming

We had a back room so pool was not around the main pool like pictured. It was a thin dark pool always in the shade with a hedge opposite, behind the hedge was a road and was overlooked by the hotel opposite

Was very disappointed with our holiday definitely not 5 Star wasps everywhere which maybe couldn't be helped staff at beach bar extremely rude maybe some training in customer service would be helpful certainly would not return to this hotel!!!!

We went to the bar a few times to get our own drinks and the barman at the beach house gets angry and quite rude and tells you to go back to your bed and the waiter will bring it over (this can take another 30 mins)

Non guests using sun beds and making use of the drinks Not clear to non guests about using beach sun beds became really irritating Non guests using the hotel as a walk through to other parts of the beach

The pool could be improved with the layout and colour of tiles. Getting a sun lounger is a joke , with people putting out towels at 6am. Complained but hotel said they’ve tried everything to stop it

I had a wonderful holiday with my girlfriend at this hotel. We really liked the staff's service, and what we liked even more was waking up to direct sea views. I recommend renting a car to visit the island

Close by to the pool area is an undercover area with beanbags and sun beds, on one of the days we stayed we had the most amazing thunderstorm and were able to enjoy watching it in this comfortable area with company of the resident cats and a good book

The hotel does have 2 infinity pools which we did not have access to as we chose not to upgrade to the 'My Favourite Club' by the sounds of it you don't get much extra apart from a slightly better room and the extra pool space

Our room was much nicer than expected which was very close to the pool and was cleaned everyday with new bedding and fresh towels! We had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed most evenings enjoying a cocktail with a good book

The only reason this review is a 4 star and not a 5 is for two irritating reason; 1: The Wasp Problem. While we were here the pool had a major wasp problem and they would not leave us alone

The pool area was great with plenty of sun beds and a good size pool, the pool could have been deeper but it seems it's more for relaxing than swimming

clean, spacious and in a perfect location ( close to the poolbar and main road) Not so great: They do not change your towels daily (you have to asked them for more clean ones) Drinks are very bad quality! Customer service was very good!

it is a family resort with lots to do for kids but not so much for couples! We loved the private pool. drinks are not good but the food is ok for an all inclusive resort. Best point: it is 30 minutes walk to St

Nicholas and Banana Beach (amazing beaches)! it is close to lovely restaurants if you fancy something different. In general our room was very good

Nice quiet place for relax, nice views, nice quiet smaller Beach, but better than overcrowded, excellent for children, futher from Pallazo do Zante, hotel Room service average, but we are ok with that, one thing would be fain to have is animation program during the days and especially in there evenings(missed greek evenings, music etc experienced in Crete or Cyprus) :) on the other hand

Lovely hotel with staff who couldn't do enough for us. Pools are really nice, no need to reserve sunbeds. Very close to beach, a bit of a walk to Tsilivi centre though

This is such a great property! Staff are amazing and welcoming. It's very quiet and conveniently located next to the beach (we ate there once). Definitely a great location!

She didn't give me the room card. She took us to the room like interrogating a prisoner and asked me why the children were running around and not assigned rooms like when they put their passports

As a parent-child hotel staff, they don't even understand the habits of children. Moreover, she did not help us push our luggage, but just took us to the room with a disdainful expression

When we paid the fare, the rude staff kept interrupting us to count the cash to the charter driver and asked us to show them our passports to check in immediately

I called in advance to inform them that the number of people staying in our room would exceed the number of people in the room

We had absoulutely relaxing vacation in Mediterranean Beach Resort. The beach was very close to our room and we had the chance to enjoy both the sea and the pool. Kids were very happy and we all enjoy our stay

Good zone for people looking for clubs and restaurants along the promenade Pro: - professional welcome - the hotel is made up of small mini hotels along a beautiful garden (small problem: no elevators) - you get beach towels (requiring a deposit but not a problem) - there's a mini market exactly nearby, on the beach - offers free waterbeds for use in the pool or the sea

On the day we had an issue with the shower it was resolved within a couple of hours of reporting it without fuss. The pool area is great, pool is a good temperature and there was excellent access to the beach

The sea is amazing, clear and shallow. The only downside to the hotel was the gym, we were keen to go but the equipment didn’t work well

The gardens and grounds were kept nice and the restaurant/crockery/cutlery was clean, the food was just ok could have done with more choice but we were there literally the last week they were open

All towels changed daily and room cleaned daily, pool lovely, plenty of beds/seats around, drinks awful, location (in season) good. Free WiFi but over €100 tourist tax to pay upon arrival

The lovely receptionist suggested we put our bags in our room, unpack after lunch. The food was wonderful! Ample choices for breakfast and lunch. Every day, the evening meal was a different theme

As others have mentioned, the showers are a bit of an issue - it's more a wet room, with unfortunate drainage. Room cleaned every day by a cleaning team who always had a smile

Yes, there are wasps, but what sunny resort with sugary drinks doesn't? I have a deadly allergy to wasp stings, I remain calm, and they fly away

There was an area child height which we thought a lovely touch. There is plenty of choice for everyone. Our room was spacious and comfortable

We returned home today after a truly lovely holiday. On arrival, we were told our room was ready, even though it was an hour before check-in

The beach bar is not part of the all inclusive and I only discovered on my last day that they have a DJ there and it really gave me the feeling I was in Zanzibar Africa because of the amazing afrohouse they play

The hotel was nice, we had a pool by the balcony. The water was also great, we saw lots of fishes and two octopuses. The food was also amazing and the staff was always polite

We hired a car from the place run by Amanda but I can’t remember the name of the company as they have fully comprehensive insurance and we went to the sulphur beach

He is very good at his job and so genuine and friendly. Such a shame that we missed his Latin night on a Monday. The other highlight was the Greek night as I got to learn different styles of Greek dancing

The restaurant/bar manager Alaexander and his staff was amazing friendly and helpful. Every day met us with smile and big greetings. We stayed in September for 7 days and every day was an amazing services

The location of the hotel is excellent. Beautiful view from the hotel pool to the sea and the surrounding islands (Cameo, Turtle Island)

The service in this hotel is absolutely amazing, they helped us with everything we needed and more. if you're looking for a place to stay on the island then I would highly recommend staying here.

Food was delicious and had good few choices every day. I would except to eat more Greek food , but the food was more international but anyway the food was delicious

Two lamps weren’t working when we arrived, but maintenance fixed them right away after we mentioned it. In the evening there’s live Greek music, a lovely bar, and a nice area with plenty of sunbeds around the pools

Not been to zante in a while , this was my fist holiday since my husband passed away, and the zante park didn't disappoint, as soon as we got there we got upgraded to a private pool room, food was as you would expect in an all inclusive, rooms very clean with fresh towels daily, nothing was to much for the staff, always helpful, would definitely recommend for a visit

The food is excellent! There’s a huge variety, especially at lunch and dinner — meat, fish, seafood, side dishes, vegetables, fruits — everything is super tasty and fresh

There’s no line at the bar, and during the day you can always get snacks and ice cream. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk, very easy to get to

If you get the rooms closer to the sea, count with the fact that the restaurant is closing at 23:00 and it is quite loud until about 23:30 everyday

We spent a week at Denise Beach Hotel and it was absolutely dreamy! The staff is kind and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied! The room was thoroughly cleaned and modern and the hotel quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed the pools and the free sunbeds

The hotel has the great and helpful staff. The room was clean and modern. We had view right on the sea. Right from the hotel are stairs to the sea. Breakfast was fresh with a lot of options.

Its clean and cute. The room are clean. The pool is good the water very good in summer. In morning the food is good and tasy. On the terrace you can see the harbor. I recommend this hotel. ☺??

Everything is good in the hotel and the location is perfect. But the shower setting is quite low and shower area is small. During the showering, one hand is needed to hold the shower head.

It is right in the center of Zakynthos Town. I booked a sea view room and watched the sunrise directly from the balcony

The receptionists were helpful and enthusiastic when we asked for a taxi to the airport after checking out. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed here at the back end of September. There was a problem with a leak in the bathroom but we got moved to another room no problem. Hotel was clean and tidy with a choice of 2 pools

Pool snacks are available outside, but because weather was so bad no snacks were offered in the main part of the hotel only a drinks bar, the rain was too bad to go out, they had other kitchen facilities at the back of the pool bar were they could of offered food

Pool snacks & drinks are available around the pool. The restaurant food was lukewarm, found the food over cooked, food samey, last time we went to the hotel they did a Greek night & had Greek dancers

She even bought our son a gift to take home which was obviously time she has taken out of her day to buy, which was an absolute topping for us Thank you Stella, you’ve made our holiday and we will be back for sure, even if it is just to say hi to you Thank you x x x ❤️❤️❤️xxx

She’s made us feel welcome, she chatted to us at appropriate times whilst having, breakfast dinner and tea… She taught us about Athens, but more importantly the sweet spots whilst here which has truly made our holiday

The cold evenings in the middle of October is something we expected, be sure to bring warm clothes, although the days have been very pleasant. A special mention for us has to go to the restaurant manager Stella
