Galatea in Kipseli

Cleaners are great. Comfy, big beds. Our room has a balcony with table and chairs, on site parking, airer to dry clothes, tv which you can log on to your netflix account, bedside tables, plenty of plug sockets, wardrobe with a few hangers (but not many) , kitchen pots and pans, a portable electric stove top with 2 rings, bin, kettle, cutlery, plated, bowls, glasses, mugs, cork opener for wine and sponge with dish soap. Be aware there is no toaater, oven or microwave . There is an under counter fridge freezer. Bathroom is usable but the shower is very small and awkward (not comfortable to use, quite awkward) and the toilet seat was broken on one hinge . The bathroom needs taking care of and kitchem could do with a toaster and oven/microwave but other than that is perfectly fine! Very clean too which is important to me.
One other thing is 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels are given every 2 days. Not every day. Not a big deal but would be nice for fresh sets per day, as with the shower being not great, we must use towels after a shower to mop up flooded water on bathroom floor. It was very nice to recieve a bottle of water in the fridge. Location was perfect for us as it was so quiet and peaceful. All you can hear is wildlife

Great base quiet and clean not flash or fancy but everything you need - great for couples who want to chill esp- not ideal for families with busy children as no on site facilities
Hire car is a must for this area of the island - but nothing is mega far and generally theres plenty to do on the island - just be aware that the season runs May - Sept and outside those times places and attractions can be closed but there's still loads to do and see outside those times

Booked a last minute stay at Galatea, not knowing the area or the island, itself at all. So glad we did, Galatea is perfectly situated, close to the busier towns, and a stones throw from the ocean. Room is clean and spacious, recently refurbished too. Will definitely be coming again.

I had a wonderful stay! All the personnel was very helpful and the room was very clean! Elena helped us a lot with information that we want about the island.we will visit you again thank you for our wonderful vacation we had !

Elena is the greatest host like I'm ever see! I heartily recommend to visit this place. It is a quiet and friendly place close to the sea, where you can really relax. My wife and I were very pleased..

We loved Galatea!
The room was cozy and clean.
The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking breakfast or a quick meal.
The balcony is big with sea view and a perfect place to eat in the morning.
They cleaned the room and replaced the towels every day.
Very friendly and nice people!
The next time we are in Zakhyntos we’ll stay here for sure!

Awesome place! Very nice room, located on the first floor with a nice terrace. Elena was very helpful and helped us with the transfer to the airport. The area is very quiet, surrounded by olive trees. Nearby there is a tavern and a bar/restaurant on the beach. It is definitely recommended to have a car or scooter if you stay for several days and want to move around the island.

We liked our room, the property in a quiet area, the cleaning service was every day, the staff was very kind and helpful, we cooked almost every night, the room temperature was not very hot, the air conditioning worked well. We really felt and had a wonderful holiday in Greece. All the good beaches are close to here on the northeast coast of the island. We have recommended and will book again on our next trips to Zakynthos.
