We stayed for three nights. There are small shops and restaurants around the hotel. However, the hotel facilities were always out of order. The power circuit breaker in the room tripped on the first day and the water supply was cut off for the next two days.

If you know what to expect you won't get disappointed. The rooms are old and not worth it. But at least you get room service and all you can eat buffet (if you provided to get the full/half board). Astir plainly offers what you pay for. The facility has seen its better days, but that's pretty much its only/main con. Our own hotel were very mean and we had to check out at the morning while the transfer left at night! So this hotel let us pay for only a lunch buffet and then we could spend the whole day by this pool, but things and eat the buffet. Really nice staff who helped us

We have been to Astir Palace last year and we liked it. But this year our stay was even much better. Extraordinary variety of food and very tasty. Very clean, every day cleaning of the room. I had a wonderful holiday with my girlfriend at this hotel. We really liked the staff's service, and what we liked even more was waking up to direct sea views.
