Castello Beach Hotel in Argasi

Athough all incusive in a nearby hotel we always like to venture out but not too far and we did discover the Castello Beach Bar. The location in itself gives it the 4 stars above. Wish we had gone at night too as watching the stars in the sky whilst looking out to sea would have made for a romantic evening. However we had two romantic and relaxing day visits. The first time was the day after we arrived in the resort of Argassi and although there weren't many pubs and restaurants open as the beginning of the season, we were happy to rest and drink at the Castello. Service with a smile from Georges and just sitting by the edge of sea and drinking a lovely cold beer was bliss. Listening to the waves lapping with not a care in the world...NOW that means a great holiday. There was no rush on both visits. The second time we visited I had the ham omelette served with chips and salad. It was huge and couldn't finish it (not because it wasnt nice) just it was some feast and would have been a great dish to share. Hubby wasn't hungry though. Had a play area for the kids too.Didn't stay in the hotel but ate in the restaurant. Well worth a visit and you never know you may fall in love all over again. Didn't stay here but the beach bar quickly became our go to place for a pre dinner drink. Comfortable seats , great service from the two guys and the coldest Mythos in Argassi. Delicious and highly recommended.
