Esprit Hotel Budapest in Budapest

Honestly, it was disappointing.
Firstly ,the picture on booking.com is a big difference from reality. We have got really small room with one window.Thanks God it's already winter time so we always freshen out the stail air .
Secondly, the bed was really disaster .
I'm the one who is definitely light weighted but it felt like this bed was so old that it can be easily broken.Each move on the bed , it's cracking loudly .
Thirdly,the walls are so thin that you can hear if your neighbours from the other rooms are woken up to take a shower or flush the toilet after using .
Fourthly,the bathroom,thanks God there is no visible mold but definitely need renovation.Especialy ,the leed of the toilet is very yellow and disgusting.
Fifthly ,regarding the option of including breakfast ,it is served right on the small table in front of the main door opposite the reception,which make the movement around very awkward and the food quality looks like the cheapest that can be found in supermarket.Its my first time seeing the breakfast buffet like this .It against all the hotel hospitality and hygenic laws .
Sixthly,because of the location it is echoing the all the street noises when opening the window.
The only plus is the location near the center and train station.
To summarise what I said above stay away from this hotel or it must think about serious renovations and smart design to survive on the hotel market .

I would not recommend this hotel. I found a large cockroach in my bathroom, which has never happened to me before as a frequent traveller. The location is decent but a bit far from the main attractions, requiring a 30-minute walk to the Basilica. It was also quite noisy; you could hear conversations from other rooms, as well as the bathroom fan and shower.

The towel situation was disappointing; I received only a small towel, and it was never changed during my stay. While my room was generally clean, it wasn’t cleaned daily by the staff. I had paid for breakfast, but to my surprise, there was nowhere to eat it in the hotel. The receptionist told me to bring it to my room, but there was no space to eat there either, so I ended up having to buy breakfast outside. Overall, it was not a great experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
