Super Hotel O Abis Inn Hotel Near Dhakuria Manipal Hospital in Kolkata

This hotel deserve a "negative star" as Rating.

I travelled to Kolkata and booked this hotel through MMT (listed as Fabhotel Jalan / Jalan Guest House / Jalan Hotel Lake View). My check-in time was 12:00 noon, but I reached around 5:30 PM due to my train being delayed.

Even with a confirmed reservation, the staff told me the room was not available. They had clearly allowed unknown couples to use the room for “OYO-type activities.” When I arrived, the receptionist simply said you have to wait, which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Safety is a serious concern here. If any raid happened during such activities, genuine guests could be made scapegoats. The entire environment felt unsafe, especially for women. The street is dark, the hotel is located deep inside an interior lane, and the surroundings feel very creepy. Mosquitoes are everywhere, be prepared to be their breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Most importantly, don’t believe the photos you see online. They are misleading and nothing like the actual condition of the hotel.

This was honestly my worst hotel experience, and I strongly advise others NOT to book this property. There are far better and safer options in Kolkata, avoid this one completely.

All the good review given are fake, they maybe given by their own agents.

Worst experience, I booked the hotel in advance but when I reached there at around 4 pm evening the receptionist asked me to wait for like 3 to 4 hours even though the check in time as mentioned was 12 noon.
To be honest it's kinda less of a Hotel, it's Red light area Hotel.
When I reached there I could see young couples coming out of the room.

Everything's Worst.... The place, receptionist, the building.

I just didn't stay at this place and left for another Hotel.

It was the worst experience. I have been to a lot of different hotels, but this was the worst one because the rooms were so the place was so creepy. It was very dark. It was feeling unsafe. There was a lot of smell after getting into the room. You will feel like trapped, and you will feel like. The room has been opened after an year.

Pathetic Experience! They haven't provided the refund yet for not providing me the breakfast. Also they refused to fix the Geyser nor provided another room for the same. The staff is rude and the rooms were not clean. Please stay away from these looters.
