The restaurant is very expensive and the food is terrible. It's tough to chew, and the main dishes are almost all cold. The hotel is old, and the bed is uncomfortable. The natural scenery is okay, but it still doesn't feel worth coming here. Staying for one night feels boring; there's nothing much to explore or do. A meal costs several hundred bucks but tastes like street fast food. Honestly, speechless.

However, the service is indeed excellent. Of course, with a 21% service charge, I'd expect nothing less.

Summary: There's no need to stay here. If you like the scenery, you can just ride a motorbike, grab a coffee, and spend an afternoon.

The facilities, environment, and service were all impeccable. The only downside was that shortly after breakfast, while I was taking a walk around the hotel, I started having diarrhea. It lasted for four days, and I even fainted once after arriving at my next hotel in the afternoon. At night, I was constantly running to the bathroom. After searching on Xiaohongshu, I suspect I might have contracted a local waterborne illness, though I'm not sure how. The next day, I bought some medicine recommended on Xiaohongshu, and it finally started to subside a little.

The hotel's setting is absolutely perfect, completely immersed in the rainforest, bringing you incredibly close to nature. Our forest villa was right by a river valley, and at night, you could hear the soothing sound of the stream from the room. The infinity pool is supposedly the world's first and is very well-maintained.

The only downside is that the ice in the restaurant's drinks might not be clean, as it caused some minor stomach issues for me. The adults and children in my group who didn't have alcoholic drinks were perfectly fine.

Away from the city, the rainforest is dense and humid. The rich ecosystem means you'll often see monkeys, geckos, and various insects, but they are all friendly, so no need to panic. The staff are polite, friendly, and provide excellent service~

Clean, hygienic, and excellent service with smiling faces. The staff are warm and constantly cleaning. Breakfast includes some made-to-order items that change daily. There are lots of monkeys and squirrels. It's a nice hotel with free afternoon tea, and the quality is good.

The place isn't too big, making for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The green surroundings are pleasant, and the spa is also very comfortable.

The only downside is Bali's poor infrastructure; just outside the hotel entrance are farmlands.

The hotel's hygiene was really concerning. The coffee cup had lipstick stains from a previous guest, and I had terrible food poisoning after eating the hotel breakfast.

As always, everything was top-notch. This is our second time staying here. We've been to many places and have a lot to compare it to. The rooms are very clean, the grounds are spotless, and the à la carte breakfasts are amazing. Lots of friendly monkeys around. Great value for money. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel's public areas are quite distinctive, and the rainforest environment is definitely worth seeing. The staff service is also good. However, the room size is very small – just a bed, a cupboard, and a desk, nothing more. It's not as good as a domestic Hanting Hotel and certainly doesn't justify the nearly 2,000 price per night. The soundproofing is particularly terrible; while lying in bed, you can clearly hear guests downstairs showering and talking, which was horrifying. Upon check-out, I discovered large yellow stains on the bed sheets, raising concerns about hygiene. Additionally, the food portions are tiny, like a French fine dining experience. The taste is decent but not good value for money. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Ubud town, which is 8 km one way but took 50 minutes due to bad traffic. I do not recommend this hotel.

Babi Guling is a must if you travel to Bali. The food was excellent and very cheap.
