Soulshine Bali in Ubud

I hosted a week-long retreat at Soulshine Bali and honestly cannot fully describe the level of care, warmth and energy this place holds. Everything about Soulshine feels special — the people, the atmosphere, the attention to detail, the food, the facilities and the rooms. Even on the final day I was still discovering little elements and thoughtful touches around the property. The food is exceptional — organic, nourishing and beautifully prepared. Even the almond milk is homemade. And the staff are some of the kindest humans you will ever meet. You can truly feel the heart of the place through the people who work there. The yoga shala is absolutely beautiful and perfect for yoga, movement, Pilates or workshops. As a retreat host it provided the ideal space for us to gather, move and learn together. I hosted the retreat through Women’s Fitness Magazine in Australia, and every single participant fell in love with Soulshine. The property itself is beyond anything I’ve experienced — peaceful, lush and incredibly well designed, with so much soul in every corner. I’m deeply grateful to the entire Soulshine team for helping turn my retreat vision into something even more beautiful than I imagined. They made the whole experience feel effortless. I cannot recommend Soulshine enough, whether you’re visiting Bali or hosting a retreat. I will absolutely be returning..

I attended the Soulrocker Retreat and had the most amazing time!! It was one of the best weeks of my life. Sara and Michael decorated the entire place and it was absolutely beautiful. I loved the little details like the “you are loved” in the coffee cups and the “Say Hey (I love you)” on the plates with the Soulshine logo and Michael’s signature. The staff always had a smile on their face and are extremely helpful. I highly recommend Soulshine Bali And hope to be back one day soon!!! The rooms were beautifully decorated also, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you, Michael and Sara for such a wonderful week!!

Just returned from Soulshine Bali. We went for the Soulrocker NYE 2026. Wow what an experience. The resort itself is perfectly curated down to the smallest detail. The Owners Michael and Sara could not have been kinder, with so much love to share. The staff are so helpful with anything you may need. The food was always delicious and plentiful. The Soulrocker experience was like none I’ve ever had. Everyday starts with soul circle and yoga. There were daily activities that we could join in or you can go exploring on your own in the center in Ubud which is where Soulahine is located. Every evening we had a different themed dinner and a different themed party We danced and sang with 70 or so of our newest & dearest friends that I can’t wait to see again. The Balinese locals are the most compassionate, genuinely happy, friendly, and caring people I have ever known. . When you have one of the Soulshine drivers they always point out historical and beautiful things to see. We will be going back and spending more time to immerse ourselves in the culture. The best part is that you don’t need to wait for a specific retreat to stay at Soulshine it is a five star resort.

Had a stellar and memorable experience on SoulRockers NYE retreat! My Aunt recommended SoulRockers, and every moment exceeded my expectations. Truly a week in a paradise that has been carefully crafted to be respectful of the land and the culture. The staff are phenomenal and are on top of every detail. They care so much about making every guest feel welcome, comfortable, honored, and special. I was very pleased with the large variety of delicious vegetarian food options. Michael and Sara are not only the most gracious hosts, they make every guest feel like a friend. Overall, this is a unique, special and spiritual place that I did not want to leave 🙏🏻🙌

Had a Blast on this week long retreat with meeting new Incredible people, moving our bodies everyday, diving into personal inquiry, learning from others, jamming to Michael Franti's music through out the week and seeing how Beautiful Bali is with many, many fun excursions. The retreat is really spread out nicely with plenty of time to yourself to hang out, rest, river rafting, biking, water temples, walking the Beautiful grounds of Soulshine, or what ever floats your boat. Micheal and Sara have really created a very Special place with NO details missed. The staff was over the Top accommodating, friendly, fun, and very professional. This is a beautiful place with wonderful people. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step on site. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. I loved the declutter and turn down service. Facilities were clean. The location was in Ubud but in a secluded area which was very quiet. They made sure that we had everything we needed and ensured that any travel was easy. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Shout out to the chef! The spa was relaxing and had great services. We left feeling like family and will be sure to be back.

My daughter and I stayed here for a week and had the absolute best experience. The laid back vibe, the wonderful attentiveness of staff and the hospitality of the locals was unmatched. We did yoga each morning on the rooftop that had a great view then down to breakfast and then hangout at the pool. They also have an AP so you can checkout the activities scheduled or book a class or an excursion. They really go above and beyond. We will for sure be back.

The time at Soulshine exceeded my expectations on all levels. The room was spacious and
absolutely beautiful with its Bali decor and peaceful deck view above the rice fields. The beds were comfortable, the shower and tub room were unexpectedly lavish. The pools, Yoga studios and togetherness bar were great places to gather with other like minded global adventurers and self care
Enthusiasts. The around the clock food offerings were vast, healthy and delicious. . . .and the spaaaah! I could stay out of that place. But what made the Soulshine experience unforgettable was the staff. To the person, the staff was dedicated to making sure your every desire was fulfilled. When we checked out today the owners and the staff were there to say farewell. It was a peaceful reset to take back to real life in the big city. 🙏🏻

This is a new type of resort in Ubud.
The sophisticated and unique interior and concept reflect the owner's artistic spirit and vibe.
It's a shame there aren't many restaurants, but the quality is on par with any resort.
The prices are reasonable.

Depending on the room type, you can enjoy a stunning sunset view from your room. There are a variety of wellness programs available.
The resort is small, so it feels more family-friendly and comfortable.
The treatments and spa treatments are also very reasonable and excellent.
This place is great for couples, but I think it's even better for solo travelers.

Next time, I'd love to stay longer and relax.
