The only inconvenience was that due to road construction, the hotel shuttle bus stopped not far from the hotel entrance, and this drop-off point was still quite a distance from attractions like the palace. I believe the hotel could easily choose an alternative route to drop guests off closer to their desired destinations.
The spa is more expensive than what you can get outside but it was so convenient and gorgeous. You get to look at the river while enjoying a flower bath and drinking ginger tea.

The infinity pool surrounded by jungle, the rainforest walking trails, and the spa were all absolutely amazing. Breakfast was excellent too, and they even had artisans performing. If you've splurged 7000 on hotels like the Four Seasons Sayan, you should definitely spend a couple of hundred here to experience the difference. I'd say the difference is maybe 40%, certainly not a 4-5 times difference.
The walking trails had average views, and after the rain, they were covered in moss, making them extremely slippery. Foreign guests complained about falling, and the staff even offered them medicine. But when I was there, it was like they didn't even see me. We were even asked for our room number when going out for a walk. In the future, I'll stick to chain hotels, especially those that are also in China, as Bali has many. Local hotels here seem to be favored by white guests; I don't know where they get the confidence to treat Chinese guests this way.
