Samsara Ubud in Ubud

Samsara Ubud is the kind of place you go to when you genuinely need to slow down.

The location is beautiful—right by a cliff, surrounded by jungle, so the views are incredibly calming and private. No crowds, no noise, just nature everywhere. It really feels like a proper wellness escape.

The sunrise yoga was one of my favorite moments of the stay. Practicing with a full jungle view felt grounding and peaceful, very “back to nature.”
Breakfast was great throughout the stay, especially the floating breakfast—à la carte selection, good flavors, and the team was very accommodating (even happily giving me extra papaya 😄).

One of the highlights was the painting activity. It was fun, relaxing, and surprisingly therapeutic—something different and memorable.
Lunch and dinner at Kelusa were consistently good. The gado-gado is a must-try, and the Betutu, Cakalang Woku, BBQ dinner, and desserts were all enjoyable. Dinner with the Balinese cultural performance was also a lovely touch.

The spa experience was excellent. The wellness facilities are well maintained, and the massage—done with natural sounds in the background—was deeply relaxing. Afternoon tea by the villa pool was another calm, enjoyable moment before the evening.

Overall, the service was warm and attentive, the food was solid, and the entire stay felt thoughtfully designed for rest and reset.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from Bali’s busy areas.

Had an excellent stay at Samsara Ubud hotel. The room were clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect. Loved the delicious breakfast and the well-maintained amenities. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and hassle-free experience!

Rooms are clean, pool are warm, beds are super comfy, equipped with smart TV (plus points), breakfast are excellent and many more.

Everyone at Samsara Ubud is extremely friendly and always ready to assist when required which makes it even more enjoyable staying here. The place is really peaceful and tranquil allowing one to escape from the city buzzing life. Really enjoyed the stay and looking forward to return the next time we are in Bali 😊

The location is fat away from downtown of Ubud, we suggest hotel can provide more shuttle bus everyday.
The food is good, especially breakfast .
The staffs are really friendly.
The facility is a bit old but environment overall is nice.
Recommend to stay few nights.
