Royal Pita Maha Hotel in Ubud

I honestly don’t think our stay could have been more perfect. Staying at the Ayung Healing Villa at the Royal Pita Maha was truly unforgettable. From check‑in to check‑out, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The staff are exceptionally warm, smiling, helpful, and attentive — a level of service that is increasingly rare nowadays. They remembered our names from the very beginning, and every single team member played an essential role in making our stay so special.
The hotel itself is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully integrated into the natural valley landscape.
We tried the different restaurants at the resort as well as the spa, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food and service were consistently top‑notch.
We loved the spa experience so much that we ended up going multiple times a day. The facilities are stunning and luxurious, and the massages and essential oils are truly among the best we’ve ever experienced.
A heartfelt thank‑you to the entire team and management for their daily dedication in making this resort extraordinary and for elevating our Ubud trip even further.

The hotel is beautiful and exquisite, perfect for taking photos and strolling around. You could easily spend a whole day there. The service is excellent, but unfortunately, the room's view wasn't very expansive.

The staff were incredibly warm and always smiling, making us feel right at home. Dinner was quite satisfying.

The porters worked so hard with our luggage, navigating all those steps. We didn't have to lift a finger, which was a huge relief since our two suitcases were pretty heavy – kudos to them!

The private pool was large, sparkling clean, and crystal clear!

The hotel is very close to the Ayung River, offering beautiful views of it.

The hotel's decor has a strong local character, resembling a palace. The rainforest vegetation is lush, and the scenery is stunning. We didn't notice any mosquitoes. The hotel feels secluded and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway and ideal for honeymoons.

Every corner of the hotel offers a picturesque view; we felt like we didn't even need to visit Ubud Palace!

The uncle who paints on eggs was very kind and skilled. He customized our eggs with our names, dates, and even a little heart ❤️.

We booked the Ayung River rafting at the hotel's front desk. They provided dedicated transfers and coordination, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Just a heads-up: remember to buy your photos after rafting! We didn't know at the time, and unfortunately, the photos were deleted by the attraction the next day, which was a real shame.

When we visited, we were the only two Chinese guests at the hotel, so I guess it's still a relatively niche choice for Chinese tourists.

We had a wonderful two days and would love to come back if we get the chance!

It's a pleasure to bring my kids here. The hotel is too old and needs to be renovated as soon as possible. The hotel breakfast is a bit simple. You can go to Ubud for dinner. There are more choices and it's convenient to take a taxi back.

Atmospheric hotel with beautiful green territory (jungle, waterfall, river), you can enjoy stone and wood carving in the restaurant, at the reception. There is a holy spring on the territory. When you are in Bali, you want exactly this atmosphere, and not a modern villa design. Breakfasts are a little weak for the price policy, but you will not leave hungry. The hotel is quiet, only distant screams are heard from the rafting route, which runs along the hotel along the Ayung River. You meet people at breakfast and in the lobby.
Nearby, within walking distance, you can say on the territory, is the Instagram restaurant Taman Dedari, which is famous for its statues, people come here from all over the island, and you will have the opportunity to take a walk.
The villas are large, with a small infinity pool, insects are present, but this is Ubud. Of the minuses - there was a smell of sewage near the pool, from the neighboring villa
Not suitable for older people, as the hotel is located in a cascade and there are many steps on the hotel grounds.

I went on a family trip with my mother.
The room size was the best.
However, I had to repeat my request several times and I didn't feel like I was being given careful consideration.

However,
the view from the room was truly fantastic.
