I stayed for two nights. On my first night, I arrived late in the evening, so I just had dinner nearby, but the next day I enjoyed the pool in the morning and evening.
I swam and relaxed in the pool, which had beautiful water.
The breakfast was also delicious and satisfying.
The view from my room was great, and I felt like I was in nature.
The service was also great. Everyone was always smiling and friendly.
My room was on the top floor, so the hot water was weak.
I had a swim in the pool, so I just wanted a quick rinse. I preferred the view and the open feeling.
This is a hotel I'd like to return to.

I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but
the staff here are all friendly and wonderful.
The location is a bit disappointing, but they offer a free shuttle, so it wasn't inconvenient at all.

What an incredible place. Never forget lazing by our private pool listening to the cycadas, watching monkeys play as the smell of incense drifts through the air. Incredibly beautiful, fabulous service and so peaceful. Absolutely a great stay.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and loved it. We had paid a bit more to have an upstairs room and it was worth it. Privacy and lovely views over the monkey forest and valley. Breakfast each day was lovely. The pool is small but more than adequate we were only the ones there each time we used it. The hotel is south of monkey forest. As we were there in rainy season we appreciated the free transport into ubud centre as the walk through the monkey forest was very were and a bit scary with scooters and the narrow path at night.

I’ve been visiting Bali for the past 20 years, and places like this are always my favorite. Excellent value for money with a fantastic location—close to everything yet quiet, nestled in a beautiful tropical garden. The staff is kind, and the rooms are stylishly furnished. While a bit worn, the decor is harmonious, well-maintained, and authentically Balinese. Breakfast is average, but with so many great breakfast spots nearby, it’s worth exploring the local options for more variety and healthier choices.

10 large 2 story bungalows (1 rental up, one down) surrounded by lush mature landscaping. Resort is older but in excellent shape. Easy walking access to a dozen or so local restaurants, all with a safe 10 minute walk. Surrounded by jungle, an oasis from the crazy of downtown udud. Nice pool. Excellent breakfast, simple but delicious. This isnt a hotel with grand lobby with elevators, but in a good way. Staff was super accommodating. They arranged a good ride from airport for us. We used that same driver, Dama for a day out siteseeing, and transport to Amed for the next part of Bali vacation.

We very much enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Alam Indah (Grand deluxe valley view). All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We like the beautiful garden and the view over the monkey forest is great. Nice breakfast!

We had a great stay in this hotel. Stuff was very attentive and respectful. Clean room and nice breakfast.
The place is very picturesque and calm. If you like being close to the nature and monkeys, that’s the best place to stay.
It is outside of busy Ubud area, but still restaurants and shops can be found in 5 min walk. If you want to go to the Ubud center, you can ask for free shuttle from the hotel or rent a scooter.

Great food for a special night. They do wonderful meals that for some maybe more typical tourist (club sandwich), but they still offer adventurous/ local food for those who still want to taste local cuisine. The dancing and plays they put on are worth seeing!

Really lovely place with delicious food and attentive staff. The place is huge! I'm the rear there is a giant open air garden for dinner in a very picturesque settings. It has its own performance space for Balinese dance which they put on different shows several nights a week. You can also do cooking classes during at two times during the day.
We went on a Wednesday to see Barong and Kristie performance which was very entertaining. We paid 200k to each which included the giant buffet dinner in the picture's above and the dance. We also got a welcome drink, soup starter and dessert and coffee. Couldn't fault the experience in any way! Really recommended place to visit.
