Dewangga Ubud in Ubud

Location - good, as it walking distance to everything local. Atmosphere - No atmosphere, mostly tourists staying there were above 60 yrs age bracket. Room - poor quality as bed making noise when you turn on the side. may be springs were loose or something. Overall, it was uncomfortable as well as the shower area. no other area to take shower other than in the bathtub which was risky. Value - yes, value for money minus breakfast. Croissants were complimentary but only if you ask for it. ***? how do you know if no one tells you. This was weird experience at breakfast. so many restaurants outside. Service - average, could do better. Utami the Manager was really good. We really liked her.

Absolutely loved staying here. Dewangga is a true oasis in the middle of Ubud — the gardens are lush, peaceful, and beautifully cared for. The moment you walk in, the busy streets disappear and it genuinely feels like coming home to nature. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Ubud, close to everything yet still calm and tucked away like a jungle retreat. The best of both worlds. The rooms are huge, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space to relax and recharge. The pool is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature — every swim feels like you’re right inside the jungle. Mornings here are pure magic. The staff are warm, attentive, and caring — they make you feel like family, not just a guest. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable. This hotel was really nice, a little dated. There was a feel of being in the jungle.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff

Beautiful rooms in a peaceful location and the most attentive staff. We have a lovely stay here while in Ubud - perfect location for restaurants, bars and the central Water Temple and Palace. The service is particularly excellent - would highly recommend

Stayed for 5 nights, very pleased with everything. Roome clean and beds comfy, pool and restaurant was good. Staff was excellent, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant. They even arranged a romatic breakfast set up on our private balcony to celebrate our anniversary.

The room facilities are a bit old, but the overall feeling is very warm. The natural environment of the hotel is very good. The girls at the front desk are very nice. The hotel is in the city, convenient for travel, and all the delicious and fun things are within walking distance.

I highly recommend the spa in the hotel. I used it for two consecutive days. The environment was very good and comfortable. All the hotel service staff were very nice and solved any problems immediately. There were also various activities in the hotel, but we were in a hurry and didn't catch up. I will stay here again next time.

The staff at Dewangga were world-class professional and simply wonderful. I travelled with my 4 year old and the staff treated us with such kind and generous hospitality. Little surprises of home-made crowns and fruit kebabs all made my daughter's holiday so memorable. We loved the pool, the pool side smoothies, the happy hour and the location was perfect to walk to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions (Palace, markets and temples). The room was large, well equipped with its own balcony and tea/coffee making. We could also access Netflix and YouTube in the room which helped for downtime. The spa experience was divine too and we loved the free activities where we got to paint our own bags. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it for couples, families and solo travellers - every one! Thank you Dewangga Ubub for making our stay incredible.
