Masia Villa Ubud in Ubud

This villa is not suitable for young families, we are a family of 5 with 3 small children The villa was spacious however very run down, their were water leaks evident on the walls, dirty windows and doors, rusted furniture and old bedding, towels etc The tv did not work however the wifi connection was reasonable We had a pool in our villa which was very old and stained, the pool chair provided were broken and a hazard in themselves. Our villa didn’t overlook any rice fields instead a outlook of weeds and a construction site which was very noisy, one night it went until 1am with music etc Security: our doors didn’t lock properly and had cracks through them letting the bugs in, it wasn’t so where I felt safe. Location: what promised to be beautiful and secluded was what ultimately did it for our family we left 2 nights into a 3 night stay. It is not accessible by a car - which we knew however what I didn’t bargain for was the extremely narrow paths, steep hills and congestion with people. Doubling on a scooter which is complimentary Is rather hairy especially with young children. Your dropped at a car park which doubles as a rubbish tip and then have to walk into town Not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children You need to bring your food and drinks which makes it challenging given the limited access via scooter
