Stayed for 2 nights, so didn't get to explore the place around it. Service from the staff was excellent. Very polite and always willing to help out when they see us in doubt or require any assistance. The facilities are pretty ok, but does require renovation as it looks old, front door knob of the room came off lol. There's a mini animal zoo near the swimming pool area, with lots of cute animals....

This trip, I stayed for quite a long time, 15 days (Nov 19 - Dec 2, 2025), at the Sunlake Hotel in Jakarta. It's close to everything, and there's no traffic. The lobby staff were excellent, the rooms were newly renovated, and the breakfast was delicious, with different options every day. The service was great. Next time I'm in Jakarta, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. Five stars! 👍🏼

Everything was great – a large room, a pool available, a decent location, and plenty of places to eat and relax.

Hotel feels quite new. Gym equipment were great, staffs were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast spread was above average.

Street in front is having major roadworks n traffic noise is an issue at night if u r a light sleeper. Otherwise for it's price point it's good value for money n the attached mall is convenient for food n also a Padang restaurant right next to it.

This is a good hotel, great buffet and Bistro restaurant. Good service. It's big, so service is not so personal. Jakarta is a big city, so try to do things with Grab or taxi (always at the entrance) We enjoyed our stay very much.

Facilities: This hotel is a bit old, so the room facilities are showing some wear and tear, but the overall hardware is still decent. It's quite close to the mall. Service: The service is excellent, no complaints at all. Cleanliness: The cleanliness could be improved slightly; it would be even better if they could enhance their hygiene standards.

Great location.  Clean room.  Very professional staff.  The room was weirdly dark, even with all light on.      "Having a gym"  is kind of an overstatement.    It has a tiny room with very few equipment. 

The breakfast selection could be improved, and more hot food should be served instead of items that are only semi-hot. The room was generally comfortable, but was slightly dusty particularly on the cupboard

The location is excellent, right in the PIK area, with a mall downstairs which is really convenient. Overall, it's pretty good, though it can get a bit noisy sometimes. The service was great.

The hotel is in a great location, right above a shopping mall and very close to the airport. There are also many Chinese restaurants nearby. However, the room was a bit small and the lighting was a little dim.

The hotel isn't too far from the international airport, about a 35-minute taxi ride. The facilities are quite new, and its location in Chinatown makes it super convenient for Chinese food. Highly recommended!

Location doesn't seems to be the best fit. Depending where you plan to visit. Service is good but can be better. Pool is so dirty that you does not even want to dip your foot in. Toilet is small, bathtub, basin, toilet bowl are all not to a good state. The water is never at the correct temperature. Either super hot or cold. Cafe that no one station there. Check in strictly at 2pm unless you have membership...

The hotel was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and accommodating during my stay. However, the food was quite expensive compared to the portion size. The room was also small, and the bed quality felt more like a 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star standard. Overall, it was decent, but there is definitely room for improvement to match the 4-star rating.

Had a great time when i stayed at cityloog, specially wkt ada trouble dr pihak ke 3, manager hotel pak kartum very helpful and cooperative, willing to compensate something even if it is not their fault👍 gym ada, swimming pool oke, strategic location, the room maybe need some renov a bit hehe, but overall good place to visit👍

Decided to spent New Year's Eve at Cityloog Tebet. I just LOVE the atmosphere, the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The room is just soo clean, nice and tidy. Breakfast Buffet are incredible, various and delicious menus. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Overall its a great hotel and i would love to revisit Cityloog with my families.

This hotel is in clear need of renovation and improvement, and for a 4-star hotel, it is simply not worth it. The room felt  had an unpleasant odor, with poorly maintained carpets and pillowcases that smelled musty. Many lights were not functioning, and the shower was leaking, which further reduced comfort. The lift situation was also inconvenient, with only two elevators working, causing long wait...

Stay with my family here. A bit of let down because of the breakfast is not tasty and kind a sad! Maybe because not many guests taking their breakfast and the area seems very dark and old. And i find the swimming pool water a bit cloudy which is unclean.

Breakfast selection is limited. By 830am, most food/ condiments like chilli sambal have run out and topping up is slow. No coffee beans dispenser and overall dining area is warm. Limited manpower is the issue. Gym bathroom is so run down and gym aircon is not functioning and very warm. Overall standard have dropped past years. Not recommended

Location is excellent. Crossing the busy road to go to GI is a breeze coz the guards will help to stop the cars to let us cross. The room is huge. Breakfast is simple. Some days we didn’t even go down for breakfast. Service is good. We would stay here again as it’s so easy to go to GI and Thamrin City.

Overall, an excellent stay. It is just across the road from the West entrance of Grand Indonesia, which has tonnes of eateries, cafés, and shops. Huge room, clean, and guests can avail of the in-house sauna, gym and pool. We did not use the breakfast at the hotel, so no comment.

Checking in was smooth and easy. The toilet was not that satisfactory as there were so many hairs on the toilet floor even though it was dry. The breakfast in this hotel is just warming fast food pack such as something in convenient store so I didn't have it. no free bottle of water but you can have from a water server in hotel floor. I think it is good option for budget travellers.

Got a room that was infested with baby roaches, and they switched rooms for me in the middle of the night because I am tired of catching them. Was changed to a smoking room, and it is also infested with roaches, just a little less. I got so tired I just didn't bother anymore. They only have like 1 staff at the counter and takes forever for anyone to check in or anything done.

The AC is a bit hot. But the room is very comfy and spacious

Old hotel. Always find small cockroaches in the room, toilet and living area. Not worth to take big room. Normal standard room rate is acceptable with the hotel conditions. Toilet also very old and not clean. Lighting in the room not bright enough. I will not stay in this room anymore with the price that i paid. Standard room ok due to the location of the hotel. Came for a business trip. The checking in was fast. Room was clean and the breakfast spread was excellent. Nothing to complaint. It was an excellent experience. As it a business hotel, no additional facilities was provided. With the price we booked it was value for money.

Location is fantastic with lots of cafes and restaurants around. Room facilities were abit dated and old with cracks in the toilet and old room carpets.

The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious, so it was a really good stay! It might be best not to eat meals too late, as it takes a really long time to prepare the food.

We loved our recent 2 night stay. Small but comfortable room, the bed and pillows were perfect, not too soft and not too hard. The staff was friendly and service minded and the location is hard to beat. Breakfast was adequate, would have loved more choices but for the price maybe it's too much to ask for.
