Everything we expected and more from this comfortable and spacious B&B. At checkin we were greeted by Roberta a friendly, helpful and truly committed professional. Her enthusiasm for her business and desire to meet your every need shines through in everything delivered. She also offers free concierge service with bookings for trips, taxi and restaurants. It was so good to have her recommendations which we followed for the local restaurants which worked well for us. The wonderful breakfast which includes delicious home made cakes and a clean, large room with balcony (we had a standard room) was a real benefit for our week long stay. Things to note are a large bathroom, daily housekeeping service (this isn’t normal for UK B&Bs) a fridge which is stocked with cold drinks and enough room to add your own, extra tea and coffee available throughout the day in the dining area, lovely outdoor seating area in the garden. Roberta and her staff looked after us so well we will happily return and recommend this property to others. A special note - this delightful B&B is only steps away from the beautiful Mondello Beach and really good restaurants.

After touring few towns in Sicily we stayed at Mondello Design B&B for 3 nights. Best Host Roberta. Lovely person so friendly and caring. Room was extremely comfortable. Best sleep ever. The Breakfast was copious and scrumptious with fresh cakes baked every day. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

November 2025: I highly recommend this place for couples, families or solo travelers. The location is excellent -- a beachside, quiet, clean neighborhood just 15 minutes' away from Palermo's cultural attractions and city center. The rooms are updated and wonderfully furnished with light colors and beach imagery. Very nice, updated in-room bathrooms. Hotel ownership and staff are friendly and helpful, giving wonderful recommendations for sites in/near Palermo. Do NOT miss walking along the beach (just two blocks from this location) and Monreale Cathedral and Monastery (just 40 minute drive from this location). James

We stayed three nights at B&B Mondello Design. My best accomodation during my trip. Roberta the host is so kind and friendly. She baked a cake for us every morning. Her breakfast was scrumptious. Our room was so spacious for the tree of us. Extremely well decorated. The bed was so comfortable. The B&B is In a quiet residential area. No noise to disturb your sleep during the night like some hotels where customers arrived at 3am and banged doors and shouted in the corridor. Here it is heaven and I had a peaceful sleep. I would highly recommend this stunning B&B.

What a fantastic B&B! From the very first moment we felt completely welcome. The host Roberta is incredibly kind and makes sure you have everything you need.
