Hotel Artemide Mare in Paestum

Structure with great potential, but unfortunately managed in a way to say the least BAD, we stayed 5 nights with full board 29/08 - 03/09, 840.00 € saying all inclusive.
Showing the green pass they tell me that they don't need it, and already from the 1st day I realize that there are no restrictions or anti-covid controls (the mask for the staff is only an ornament for the chin, and for those who clean the rooms where we we will go, it is non-existent), never seen a sanitizer, the guests (especially at breakfast) accolade to the miserable buffet and the coffee machine, anyone touches everything.
3 days before the end they tell me that the tourist tax, drinks and coffee after dinner are separate, having to pay an additional 42.00 €.
A bottle of Falanghina / Aglianico wine sold at the supermarket a few steps away for € 1.80 in the hotel you have to pay € 15.00, the coffee (pod) even if after ordinary meals € 1.50 each ...
Beds, if they can be called that, are simple low tables with a resting "mattress" (without nets).
Linen and toilet paper kept in the courtyard between the garbage bins (my room was "courtyard" view).
The cook for me would have to change jobs, poor and monotonous breakfast with little choice, quality of food much more than bad any dish we had (very little choice) at most when it is good it tastes like oil (always present in abundance) clearly old and used to all dishes, I hope not for more days considering for example the potato omelette at lunch tasted like fried fish the night before.
Clearly tap water, very heavy and smelly. Dishes and cutlery often dirty and full of stains. My wife and I have been with stomach and tummy aches all week, and so have most of the known guests to them say.
Nice but dirty rooms (left the rooms in the morning about 9.00, we could not return until about 14.00, they spend all day cleaning the rooms) even after this you cannot walk barefoot in the room.
We had to buy toilet paper, they provide a roll (sometimes half) of very poor paper which is not enough for 2 not even half a day.
In the photo they show 2 swimming pools, but one is a great photoshop since the most beautiful does not exist, the other is dirty, very narrow solarium and without bathrooms (if you need it you have to enter the hotel and go to the room).
Room without telephone or safe.
Rude staff who have tones as if they are doing you a favor except someone.
In the garden twice we found ourselves in front of a snake.
As far as I'm concerned they should have a nice visit from the N.A.S., I think they really need it.

It is saved with two stars for its location near the sea and the view of the swimming pool, but you can see that it is a hotel arranged in a short time. They provide you with unfinished rooms and cleanliness that leaves something to be desired, plus we had a stain on the ceiling for a water leak from above. Bad food, they were nice to offer me vegan options given my needs, but both my options and the omnivorous ones of the person with me were bordering on edible. Breakfast always the same and poor, there was the choice of only one fruit for example. Too bad, because they have potential, but there is a lot of work to be done on them.
