My parents stayed at this B&B in mid-May 2026 while we stayed at a nearby hotel, and they had a wonderful experience from start to finish. They were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the lovely staff and immediately felt at home.
Unfortunately, my mom broke her foot during their stay, and the staff truly came to the rescue. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and empathetic, doing everything they could to make a difficult situation easier for her. Their care and support made a lasting impression on our entire family.
My parents also loved the freshly made breakfast each morning and enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds throughout their stay. Thanks to the exceptional hospitality, they are already planning a return visit and look forward to staying here again.

We had mixed feelings about our stay at La Martella. Pros: Fantastic staff and excellent service. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown around the facility. Mariana was fantastic with ideas of what to do in the area and visits to nearby villages. Mariana also gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Excellent breakfast with good selection of freshly baked goods. Everything seemed fresh and local. Anita and Massimo were very gracious hosts. Beautifully manicured grounds and a swimming pool, although we did not use that. Wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and golf course. Cons: Although labeled as Porto Ercole, La Mortella is quite far from the town and not close to the other towns in the area. The room was disappointing. It was quite large, but it felt very dated and worn. An update was sorely needed. Air conditioning was very effective. The area is quite expensive and La Mortella seemed pricey for the level of accommodation.

Genuinely warm reception from staff got our stay off to a great start. It was very hot and we appreciated the shady area for parking and that it was away from the rest of the hotel. It is a wonderful spot in the countryside, with fabulous views. The room we had was simply furnished but with style and was very comfortable. We loved almost everything about this hotel and would highly recommend. My only negative is that they used UHT milk in the coffee which is an unforgivable sin, surely?! Lovely place, lovely people, do stay here. It is peaceful, beautiful and has a charming pool. Only eight rooms so never feels busy.

Really nice hidden place with very nice accommodating staff. We check in after hours and they had the class and courtesy to wait for our arrival. We got help with luggage and got a tour of the property and got direction to the private golf club restaurant located right below the relais.

This is a really gorgeous little hotel in an absolutely perfect quiet spot, in beautifull nature and great views of the hills overlooking a golf course.
Manuela is the very friendly owner and Anita will look after you with enthusiasm.
The breakfast is very nice.
From this location you can explore the gorgeous nature or just relax in the hotel or walk down the private path to the golf club for a drink and look at the sea in the distance.
It's not our first time here and it was absolutely great to stay here again and we will definitely come back. You won't be disappointed

Wonderful and relaxing visit to beautiful Mt. Argentario. We loved our visit to this beautiful part of Tuscany. Manuela, Massimo and Anita love what they do and does it ever show. From the moment we arrived they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We had a flat tire and they helped us to communicate with the rental car agency and service staff. We can’t thank them enough for all of their assistance. The ambience is serene, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the accommodation charming.

Stayed for five nights in July and it was so wonderful. Manuela Anita and Massimo made us feel so welcome. The property is wonderful nestled among the green hills with a view of the ocean. Breakfast in the patio was a delight and the accomodation was stylish and comfortable. Our hosts provided great eating and swimming recommendations and were always on hand if we needed anything. We also enjoyed the pool and large well kept grounds - was lovely to access outdoor spaces at any time. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Words are not enough to describe the surroundings of this magnificent place. The rooms and the buildings were renewed with the greatest care and respect for the origines and the reception by the owners was absolutely top quality.

Very warm welcome by the owner and a lot of favours during our entire stay; a recommendation here a reservation there!
The room was spacious and the view just fantastic. A real oasis but not too far away from everything. The perfect choice!

Fantastic retreat. Owners were very occupying and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. A good selection of meats and cheeses as well as different cakes and croissants. We will definitely be coming back!
