Reviews
Rooms were dated and in need of upgrades, for example our main door wouldn’t open very well due to it binding on the floor. Drainage in our shower stall was slow, so there were concerns of water overflow into the washroom.
I read the reviews before booking… one said “terrible pool” the next said “great pool”…?!?! This place is awesome Period… close to restaurants, incredible views & helpful staff…Joe…maxspice.com 🌶️
First of all the reception and check in was smooth and easy, however because we arrived a bit late it was dark, despite of that, no one accompanied us to the room.
The room honestly is specious and somehow clean, but lack of many simple amenities such as slippers and tissues.
I asked the reception next day in the morning, to be surprised when i came back late in the evening that they not just didn’t bring tissues and slippers, but they kept out used towels outside to get dried!! I never saw such thing in my life! How come they don’t change the towels!
I don’t understand how they put 4 stars on their wall while they don’t deserve more than 1.
Apart of that, the hotel size is large and the parking is not free, they charge for parking inside the hotel.
The location is beautiful and great for exploring local Italian restaurants and sights.
The rooms are basic and if you want quality this is perhaps not the place but it is clean and provides cheap accommodation. With a little investment it could be great.
My son loved the pool and the relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is basic Italian with croissant, bread, yoghurt, cereal, available but you can pay for cooked breakfasts if required. We found the coissants delicious and kept us going through the morning.
There are school trips and it can get a bit busy but staff still give other guests good service in-between. I agree with the person who said it's a bit like a camping upgrade but for a cheap holiday in a great location this met our needs.
We would return there again to explore the area more.
