Grand Hotel Parco del Sole in Sorrento

Great location for exploring the area .Fabulous grounds ,lovely clean pool and pool area ,pool towels included . .Friendly, welcoming and attentive team .Our suitcases were taken to our room while reception held a welcome meeting.Room was clean and cleaned each day .some areas of the hotel /decor are a little dated but it poses no real problem Food had a good selection bearing in mind this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel food was plentiful.Pastries,fresh fruit ,scrambled,fried,boiled egg,bacon,selection of meats and cheeses ,selection of fruit juice ,coffees ,teas,lattes at breakfast. Lunch ,salads ,pasta dishes ,pizza , mini desserts We ate out in the evening as were out touring but other guests said evening food/meals were good .. Good choice of drinks throughout the day and in the evening . We had a great stay and nothing was too much trouble for this lovely team of staff that work very hard and made our stay a great one !

We've just returned from a Jet2 holiday, on an all-inclusive package & had a lovely week. The staff were really friendly - & a big shout out to Joe from the bar department, who was so lovely, friendly, & always greeted us with a big smile & refreshing beverage! Antonella on reception was also lovely - & a great person to have on the front desk as guests' first impression of the hotel, as they arrive after a long journey & are greeted by Antonella's friendly face & helpful persona. We're all vegan & didn't struggle to eat. There was almost always a choice of options (such as mariana pizza, pasta, veg, salad) &, on the couple of occasions when there wasn't anything on the main line, Antonio, the Maitre'D, asked the chef to make us something (which we really appreciated). On the first night, our transfer bus from the airport arrived as dinner was finishing, & Antonio & his team had already set up a table for us with a vegan meal each, as well as a bottle of wine, which was a lovely start to the holiday! Our rooms were really nice, & we really enjoyed relaxing in the lovely pool area, surrounded by orange & lemon trees & friendly Joe behind the bar! Would definitely recommend this hotel, & we would 100% return next time we holiday in the area!

A wonderful hotel with friendly obliging staff, really make you feel welcome and valued. Food can’t be faulted and a good variety of, authentic Italian.

This hotel fails to surprise me , clean room, excellent location with hotel set in its own grounds. Food meets all tastes. Best of all the staff are so friendly

This hotel is perfect for what you pay. People need to remember that. I am going to address some of the silly comments. Carpet in corridors...of course they have marks, 100's of people walking on them daily. Glasses and plates...it is the guest's that leave them there. If the maid has already passed they may miss them but they move them later. Guest's also leaving plates and glasses on the floor in the corridor! Mixers in plastic bottles....The cost of maintaining and replacing syrup etc would be counterproductive .Because of the high turnaround the bottles are always fresh. Local spirits...If you want imported spirits this would add to the cost . I don't see anything wrong with 'local' wine,disarrano and lemon cello! Rooms. ... If you want a balcony. Pay for it. Rooms are very very clean. Staff..never ever have i had a problem with anyone. Every single one of them are kind and friendly. They don't 'shout' at anyone. Italians are very passionate people. Food. .. If you think the food is repetitive maybe that's because you are selecting the same thing over and over or you are too fussy. Lots of choice and never had cold food? Entertainment. .. Read the description! Nowhere does it say there is an animation team,pool tables etc. Its a laid back atmosphere. That said there are low key singers, traditional Italian dancers and even a Disco one night. I don't visit every year but am always drawn back for a relaxing week friendly staff nice food and cocktails...I shall wait for the reviews that say 'some people may not be used to much' FYI... I travel the world for work and eat in the best restaurants. This is a perfect Italian holiday for the price 😋 👌

This hotel is very well placed for sightseeing around the Sorrento area, a train station close by and a good bus service. The hotel also runs a bus into Sorrento for guests, but it’s only a15/20 minute walk along a straight road. The hotel is very clean and the staff are amazingly friendly. Food is typically Italian and really good, if you like pasta you’ll not go hungry. The drinks are also very good. As for value for money this hotel cannot be beaten, in what is an expensive part of Italy.

This must be nearly my 20th time to the Parco Del Sole and I've already booked to go again in August. When I first went to this hotel it was not all inclusive and I had no children. In fact it was my late honeymoon. I now have a daughter who was 2 year old when she first went, she is now 17! This hotel is a traditional italian hotel, family run, clean, friendly with staff that can't do enough for you. Antonio whose family owns the hotel is present almost everyday, very approachable and often chats to hotel guests ensuring everything is ok. It's well located in Sant Agnello with a 20 minute walk if healthy into Sorrento however there is a courtesy bus everyday there and back. I have never used the bus but there is always a queue. This hotel is now all inclusive and has recently added to its cocktail menu which the guests contributed to, having taste tests making sure these were good additions. There is white wine and red wine and draft beer is peroni. The pool area is very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds with a pool bar from 10am in the morning. The rooms are being updated in the closed season but still keep the traditional charm. Rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels when required. There is no tea and coffee facilities but I take my travel kettle and enjoy a cup of tea every morning. There is a fridge and water is left when needed so you can put milk in it which is great for a cuppa. There is no entertainment through the day especially around the pool which I enjoy but if you have children the pool is fantastic and allows floats and ball games which seems to provide endless entertainment. There is entertainment on a night, often a singer but if you are expecting something like you would get in spain, it isn't. There are also 3 BBQ nights which if the weather is good is hosted outside and they are fantastic. There are often folk dancers who get the guests involved and a singer but the star of the show is the food and the staff who work tirelessly to make this a wonderful experience. There have been reviews that say the hallways are not clean, the hotel is dated and the food is repetitive. It's Italy, of course you are going to have pizza and pasta everyday but it's always different and there is a pasta station on a night when it's not BBQ night. The hallways are carpeted and is hoovered constantly but people walk to their rooms from the pool area so it's expected. Glasses are left on tables in the hallway seems to be mentioned a lot. The cleaners empty people's rooms and leave them there for collection later in the day. This hotel is clean and any issues you have, if you speak to reception, they will sort. This hotel is not for everyone but it is for me. Again, the staff work so hard, the food is fantastic, great location, clean, great relaxing facilities and a great experience can be had. Just a note, the transfer from the airport to the hotel can be long due to thd costal road so just be prepared.

We have been there the last week of October. At the arrival the politeness of the staff was amazing and we already felt at home from the first step in the hotel. We were four and once we arrived into our rooms we were happily surprised, the rooms looks brand new, and also with a spotless cleanliness we really enjoyed our stay. A special mention to the restaurant staff and to the pizzaman Umberto, which made the best pizza in Sorrento !! There was always big choices of meals, considering that we travel with two kids. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back !

I was there with my wife and I think we made the best choice to choose this hotel. Rooms were really clean and the cleaners amazing, always ready to help you ! The pool is quite big and there's space for everyone. Meals were full of choice with a good quality for an AI structure ! Amazing weather to enjoy sorrento and a lot of excursions around !! Recommended

This place is absolutely stunning, staff is really professional and friendly and at a really good rate, I had the opportunity to stay down there for a long weekend with my partner that it was visiting from London and we both fall in love with everything
