Great experience at Hotel Caravel. My family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed from 8/23 to 8/29. Location was convenient and they have a shuttle that runs to Sorrento central every 15 minutes. The hotel is well kept. Breakfast is ok, wish they had more options. Dinner, lunch, and bar drinks were good. Pool is perfectly sized, with a jacuzzi and plenty of sun beds. The best part of our stay was the service. Truly honestly, from the front desk to the servers and bartenders, everyone literally goes above and beyond. It’s so rare to find genuine and great service. Thank you Angelo for always greeting us with a warm smile. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend!

Loved this hotel for a girl's weekend! Our favorite part was the pool, chill vibes around pool, quite, pool bar and snacks, sunbeds and shade available. This hotel also offers a free shuttle service into sorrento which is a god send, pre booking required. Breakfast was scrumptious and service at restaurants excellent.
Around the hotel were also some great restaurants and roof top bars. I would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Caravel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sorrento area. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
A special mention has to go to the shuttle service, which made getting to and from Sorrento incredibly easy and stress-free. The driver, Antonio, was an absolute gentleman and couldn’t have been nicer. He was always professional, friendly, and happy to help, making every journey a pleasure. His kindness and warm personality really stood out and added to our overall experience.

The hotel is conveniently located about 20 min walk to the main square although the hotel operates a free minibus service every 30 min to and from Sorrento. There is an excellent bus service around 10 mins walk and you can also catch a train to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples from St Agnello Station. Rooms are comfortable but the highlight has to be the restaurant. A 4 course dinner is served every evening and is delicious. Angela and Maria take great care in looking after everyone and everything. There is a swimming pool and pleasant seating area or bar. I would certainly stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were incredible. They greeted us with genuine kindness and offered all the help they could whenever we needed it. Antonio the shuttle driver had the best recommendations for anything restaurant to plant stores. He was a safe responsible driver! The hotel property was kept clean, inside and outside. The location is idea for walking into town and the beach. From check in to check out it was a positive experience.

We were disappointed. Bath had one light which dimly lit. What 4 star location has plastic glasses in the bathroom. Extra charges for clean pool towels seemed excessive. Staff was friendly. Best part was the nightly entertainment. Violin and piano player was absolutely excellent!!! Location was convenient and their shuttle to Santorini an appreciated service.

The hotel was very nice, but there were some issues. There was some exceptional staff members that went above and beyond; Angelo in the dining room and Carmen and Joseph at reception. Some of the other staff members at the reception were very hard to deal with. The hair dryer in the room kept shorting out and the air conditioning didn't work so well. The pool was very nice as well as the lounge areas.

Lovely hotel with great restaurant
We stayed as a family of 4 for 5 nights and had a lovely, relaxing stay. Being able to order a La carte in the evening was a great treat. The shuttle bus to Sorrento was helpful. Responsive and kind staff. We had a lovely holiday. Thanks.

Really wanted to give this 3.5 stars but the system won’t let me.
Good points: well isolated from traffic noise. Aircon on all the time. Pool and loungers well located and sufficient. Breakfast. Transportation service into Sorrento.
Not so good: internal noise insulation poor, i.e. noise from adjacent rooms (particularly toilet flushing). Don’t bother having dinner there as other local restaurants are much better and cheaper.
