Albatros Beach Hotel in Letojanni

From the minute we arrived we were SO well looked after. Everyone says ‘Buongiorno’ when they see you at reception, breakfast etc etc So happy and friendly. We used the shuttle bus to Taormina (€5 euro per person each way) which was fantastic and very friendly drop off and collection times. Our cleaner was INCREDIBLE - every time we went for breakfast our room was spotless by the time we came back !! She was wonderful !! The girls on reception couldn’t have been more lovely - and the young man working the bar was fabulous too…..Sicily you were very kind to us….We will most definitely return one day….The weather was also superb 10/10

A really lovely hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Our room was a superior room with a lateral sea view and a balcony. We had tea and coffee making facilities. A very comfortable bed. A spacious bathroom. We found the room rather hot at night, aircon was not available. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice. Unfortunately It was rather busy with large groups on an organised trip to Sicily. Dinner was delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The Etna wines were good. The reception staff arranged an excursion for us to the Alcantara gorge and wine tasting. The hotel shuttle service to Taormina was good it cost €10 return per person. Well worth it ! Letojanni has a charm of its own and I wish all businesses the very best as they continue to recover from the cyclone in January. We will definitely return.

Stayed for a week as a family with two young children. The hotel gave us interconnecting rooms which worked really well. Hotel staff couldn’t do anything more for you and were always on hand, with a smile on their face, to help. Nothing was too much trouble and there were some nice activities during Easter weekend. We used the hotel shuttle bus up to Taormina which was priced reasonably and had plenty of availability during each day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Albatros Beach Hotel. I booked a sea-view room, which came with two balconies – one overlooking the beautiful ocean and the other with a view of the mountains.

The breakfast was lovely. While simple, it had everything you’d want: fresh eggs, vegetables, delicious pastries, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The hotel is wheelchair and luggage friendly, with elevators and ramps from the entrance to the rooms, which makes moving around super convenient.

The location is unbeatable – just steps from the beach with plenty of comfortable beach chairs available. There’s always off-street parking nearby, making it easy to come and go.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taormina. 🌊☀️

We were part of a group staying for 2nights. Excellent location, very spacious rooms and excellent guest interaction. Nothing was a problem and aways willing to help. The male Receptionist was the star of the show

Hotel is bright and modern for an Italian resort. Room was spacious enough, very clean with good facilities. Decent size bathroom and good shower. But beds and pillows very uncomfortable and we both slept badly throught the week. Also a small wardrobe for a weeks stay. Only went to breakfast a few mornings. Plenty enough choice for me as I usually only want toast and fruit. Didn't eat any of the hot food on offer, but seemed the usual choice. Pool area small with no loungers, just small padded chairs. I suppose most folk use the beach in summer although it looks like gravel. Beach shoes are a must. The hotel has a shuttle to take you through to Taormina which is €10 pp return and takes about 15mins. All hotel staff were so helpful, accommodating and friendly. Had a very quiet, chilled out stay mainly due to there's not much on offer in Letojanni. There is a train station but ran a reduced service in October. It takes about 4 mins to get to Taormina but you need a bus to take you up to the centre. Local buses none existent. Not much to do in the area come October, especially if you don't sunbathe.

We've had a really relaxing stay, friendly staff, contemporary and spotlessly clean hotel. Comfortable beds and straight across from the beach. If you're after a quiet, beach side hotel in letojanni I'd say it's probably the best place in the area.

We loved our stay at letojanni. The room is nicely furnished , and spacious. Great bathroom. Bed very comfortable. The view from the balcony over the beach and to the sunrise is stunning. Unfortunately lots of noise from other bedrooms. Top floor room is best as dont have noise of furniture being moved above. Breakfast was good. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Franco at the beach club was excellent, always supervising swimmers in the sea and helping clients. Fabulous dinner at il peperoncino. Hoping to return next year!
