We have had seven nights here in the Bai Taormina Hotel where the friendly staff make you feel part of the family, which encourages the guest to mingle and chat and spend the evenings together. There is a wonderful singer most evenings but she is not overly loud. The food is all local Sicilian specialties made from scratch in house with a very wide selection of savoury vegetables and pastas and three fresh fish and three meats grilled to your liking. There is an equally impressive spread for breakfast. All presided over by Maitre Dhotel Leo Grasso who went out of his way every evening, to make it special for all the guests including ourselves even organising a vegan birthday cake. You will probably need a car if you stay here it’s about 6 km outside of Taormina itself and you will want to explore the rest of this side of Sicily. It’s also built into the side of a hill with the hotel on three or four different layers with three or four different lifts taking you up and down the hill side and up and down the hotel. This elevation gives you the panoramic views of the bay whilst eating breakfast or the sparkling lights of Taormina in the distance whilst having your evening meal. Did I forget to mention the coffee? easily the best decafinato I have ever tasted and they don’t even charge for it, with breakfast or the half board we enjoyed. I can’t recommend this lovely hotel enough when I visit Sicily this will be where i will be staying. Well done to all the staff here showing much more expensive hotels how it should be done!

Visit was awesome. Staff was warm and welcoming. A special haul out to Federica Palma who has a voice of a Nightingale and a beautiful smiling soul. We loved hearing her sing. She made the evening, very vibrant and fun filled. We would look forward to coming back to the hotel and just chill in the courtyard because of Federica. God bless her.

The room faced the sea, and the pool downstairs was clean and comfortable. While it's a bit far from the beach, there's a dedicated hotel access up and down the hill, making it a great value. The only downside is that the restaurant only has a buffet in the evenings. The view and decor are both lovely, so it's worth a try, but you wouldn't want to eat there every day. Overall, it's a good choice in Taormina.

The hotel is on a mountain, a beautiful view. But you need to understand that this is not a beach hotel. Formally, there is an exit to the beach from the pool, but it is very steep and in the heat to climb up from the sea is an activity only for physically prepared people. And it is wild.
You need to drive to the sea beach by car 5 minutes Maya Beach, parking + two sun loungers + umbrella 35 euros per day. Towels are yours.
Breakfast is delicious, but all 4 days were the same.
The hotel itself is clean and cozy.
Far from civilization, stands alone on a mountain.
There are many parking spaces.
There is a paid transfer to Taormina.
Dinner for 35 euros is normal, but nothing special.
In the evening there is a show program.

Beautiful hotel with a great view.
The room has a large terrace with a great sea view. The breakfast and dinner areas also have a sea view.
Very good, helpful service.
Nice, large room. Beds are a bit hard.
The only drawback: you have to go down and back up a few steps to get to the sea.
It's about a 25-minute drive to Taormina.
There's also a free bus shuttle.

A magnificent 7 night stay at this lovely hotel with amazing staff and views of the Sicilian coast and Taormina. Probably the best food we have eaten in an hotel , the evening buffet has a different theme to it every night special mention of the lady spaghetti chef , 6 varieties a night .The small village above the hotel is worth a visit for the scenery alone .Hire a car and drive to Etna - avoid the tours .on arrival I was told the beaches are closed until 15th may which I was upset about but to be honest I have not missed them at all - the pools are magnificent. We came end of April - I am not sure I would want to be here in August as we virtually had the place to ourselves now . Reception staff are amazing , knowledgeable and very very helpful .

Beautiful hotel very well located between Taormina and Forza Agro. Pools are awesome with huge wiew on the bay. Rooms also offer a beautiful panorama.

Stunning views of bay. Private beach. 2 pools. As its low season here, we are the only people on the beach today. Sunny &/warm helps as well. Stunningly beautiful.
