Let me start by saying that in recent years I have been very often in this structure for work needs and there is certainly a distinction to be made between the accommodation structure and the restaurant ... sides of the same coin but completely opposed.
Let's start from the restaurant. The cuisine faithfully reflects the Sicilian and Trapani gastronomy in particular, with typical fish dishes exquisitely prepared, from the appetizers, through the first courses (especially the busiata with St. Peter's eggs, amberjack sauce and pistachios that I would define exquisite), ending with very fresh fish main courses and excellent quality red tuna .... wonderful desserts from the Trapani pastry shop. Good service and friendly, homely staff, so highly recommended.
To review the wine list which can definitely be improved.
Another ballgame is the hotel ....... old structure that needs urgent modernization which I would not give the three stars it boasts. All in all spacious and comfortable rooms,
but often with old and malfunctioning air conditioners (and at 40 ° it is not comfortable to try to sleep), with one or two electrical sockets at most, positioned in uncomfortable and not very functional corners, completely absent on the sides of the bed, but now necessary to recharge laptops, cell phones and any other electronic device that is now perpetually present in our life. Old furniture that is in urgent need of modernization .... broken or malfunctioning shower cubicles and bathroom fixtures that show all the signs of the passing years. Elevator eternally inefficient to go upstairs (with luggage in tow is definitely uncomfortable). In short, a strategic structure that needs urgent improvement works.
