Everything about our experience at Cala Gonone Beach Village ******. It looks good in the pictures, but everything is poorly maintained and broken. The bed beds were hard and you can feel the springs through the mattress. You can hear every neighbor throughout the walls. Our air conditioning was broken and beeped constantly through the night, it took them two days to fix it despite multiple complaints. The food is all pre-made meals and they cant even be bothered to heat it properly. The pool is pretty, but bland and cold with too much chlorine. All in all a terrible experience.

Very poor musty smelling rooms we moved which didn't help. Very poor food choice with limited time to eat it. They rushed you out bang on 9pm put food away 8.40pm. We had 60 Romainian police at the resort. Their disgusting behaviour was left unchecked. Ruin the swimming pool night and tried to break in a private dance event but nothing was done. The beach pebbles with biting fish. Two stars as regular shuttle train was nice and always had sunbeds had a big pool. As you expect of 2 star no kettle or coffee making facilties. No English TV channel not 1 out of 68 channels. Recommend trip Cala Luna boat trip. Proper sand beach

Absolutely disgusting rooms and bathrooms. Mold on curtains and in bathroom. Raised concerns with reception and they promised a manager would come and see us to resolve. This never happened. Advertised as a 4 star i wouldn't even call it a one star. This ruined our holiday. I have since raised a complaint with love holidays they are saying the hotel are denying my allegations even with photographic evidence. Check out other complaints are we all lying???? Not a way to treat paying customers to your hotel.

The hotel it's advertised as 4 star but the service , rooms , food and other amenities doesn't reflect to that . Old rooms , old mattresses and broken dirty beds , Ac noisy and working time to time.6 nights there and couldn't sleep at all.Glad that we took only bed and breakfast as there was poor selection of food , and unfriendly staff . Swimming pool and sun beds full as the resort has to many room . disappointed as money we paid doesn't reflect on the service received

Date of stay: July 9–23, 2025 Traveler type: Family with children Review: Sardinia is a stunning island – full of charm, natural beauty, and places worth exploring. However, our stay at Club Esse Beach Village in Cala Gonone fell far below expectations. Rooms: Old and tired – broken shower, outdated furniture. Definitely not a 4-star experience. Service: Had to ask multiple times for basics like shower gel and toilet paper. Bedsheets weren’t changed for over 8 days. Cleanliness & restaurant: Main restaurant was messy: dirty dishes, sticky tables, and malfunctioning water dispensers in the heat. Some dishes were tasty though, and staff tried hard to serve guests despite overcrowding. Animation & staff: Entertainment only in Italian. Communication in English was either ignored or met with rudeness. One day, the head animator told me and my son to leave the pool area under 40°C sun, saying “That’s your problem.” Wi-Fi: Available only at the reception, which was very inconvenient for planning trips or staying connected. Bright spot: The Ukrainian bar staff were consistently polite, kind, and professional — a real credit to the hotel. Conclusion: This review reflects my personal opinion and not that of my employer or any organization I’m affiliated with. Sardinia is worth visiting – but look for a different hotel.

We stayed there for two days. Highly recommend not only for the good service, facilities, but also for the dinner buffet which is wonderful!

Old room, wifi doesn't work in the room, cleaning leaves something to be desired, no accessible socket in the room (only one in the bathroom) and poor customer service.
