Voi Tanka Village Hotel in Villasimius

Great stay
Very nice relaxing stay. The staff were very helpful and always tried their best to communicate in English. Good was decent. There grounds are very big and lovely to walk around. However, some aspects are a bit old and I found it slightly over priced.

Classic well kept resort with everything conveniently available with not too much mark up. It is the full Italian experience with mostly Italians on holiday. A lovely experience in a lovely location!

We spent a few days at Tanka Village as a family, and overall, it was a very good experience—especially for those traveling with young children.

Arrival & Location:
Check-in was quick and smooth, and we reached our room in no time. Our room was located in a hallway that served as a bit of a passage, which made it slightly noisy at times. However, the central location was very convenient—it was right near the main square (piazzetta) and just a short 10-minute walk to the beach.

Family & Baby-Friendly Facilities:
This resort is extremely baby-friendly. The “Biberoneria” service was a highlight—it had everything needed for babies aged 0 to 3, including free formula, diapers, snacks, and freshly prepared baby meals served three times a day. Parents can enter freely and get what they need, which was a huge plus for us.

Food & Dining:
The food at the Oasis restaurant was truly excellent. There was a great variety of fruits, vegetables, and desserts every day. We also appreciated the free wine and beer, and the overall quality and variety of the meals made dining a real pleasure. The all-inclusive formula worked really well for us.

Beach & Activities:
The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and plenty of activities throughout the day for both adults and kids. That said, sunbeds and umbrellas are not included and must be paid for separately, which feels a bit off for an all-inclusive resort.

Rooms & Cleanliness:
The rooms themselves are a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Housekeeping came once a day, but the sand wasn’t always fully cleaned, and the overall standard was just okay. Small details like having to pay a €50 deposit for a proper hair dryer, or €2 to wash towels, and daily towel rentals for the beach, added some unnecessary hassle.

Facilities:
One disappointment was the gym, which closes during lunchtime—something that seems unnecessary and limiting in a resort setting.

Overall:
Despite a few service-related downsides, Tanka Village is in a fantastic location, offers excellent food, and is wonderfully equipped for families with young children. With some small improvements, especially on the facilities and service side, it could easily become an outstanding choice for a relaxing family vacation.

Amazing all around, never dissapoints

Hotel is nice and clean, with good food available from the buffet. However, there are extra costs, such as sun loungers, beach towels and umbrellas on the beach even for hotel guests.

The structure is very large and well equipped. It offers many services and all of good quality. As a strong point is the position, directly on the sea. And the sea is exceptional, among the most beautiful you can find. Warm sea, transparent and without algae or dirt. Unfortunately there are some negative things: the cleaning of the rooms was not perfect; the cost for a week in this village is very high and despite this, you have to pay for everything: all the services are paid for, from the beach umbrella and sunbeds (not even the tenth row was included in the stay) as well as the fitness area which had a cost of 5.00 euros for each use. Of course, the cafeteria and various drinks at the bar are also paid for (the soft inclusive drinks are not included). The food at the restaurant is of good quality but it is still a buffet service and not à la carte with the related consequences. The daytime entertainment is present but not invasive. the evening shows, on the other hand, were a pleasant surprise: many evenings there were performances by comedians and external actors (not entertainers) whose level of skill was high.
