Hotels near sea shore in Apulia

I had the great pleasure of dining at Al Pescatore yesterday evening with my sister and aunt, and I would never have expected to find such exceptionally fresh fish, top-quality ingredients, and simple yet refined flavors

Portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and the staff were kind, attentive, and well-prepared. The location couldn’t be better – right on the seafront in the heart of Gallipoli

We each ordered different main courses, and they were all equally delicious: linguine with mixed seafood, spaghetti with tuna and bottarga, and ravioli with prawns and burrata

The waiter was knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect white wine to pair with our meal. They also served us freshly baked bread and traditional Pugliese tarallucci

We really enjoyed our stay in Gallipoli at the Al Pescatore. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Location was excellent, close to all the amenities in the old town

If you enjoy raw fish, I highly recommend the crudo selection (prawns, riccio di mare, mackerel, tuna) – it was outstanding

For instance they booked beach transfers for us and made sure we got spots at their partner beach, even though we were sometimes late with our requests. The breakfast is plentiful for an Italian hotel

The staff are amazing, so happy, friendly and welcoming Upon arrival we were greeted in the street and walked into the hotel, by a very friendly staff member

We then discovered a very clean, very Italian styled, lots of cool marble, and cactus, a beautiful hotel

What a gem of a find, it started with the excellent & timely communication from the hotel staff

It's very sweets/pastry focused but also has a few savory options. I would prefer a crunchier bacon or sausages instead but that's about it. Lastly, the hotel should consider putting up umbrellas on the sundeck

The main room was very small as well. Another issue can be the sound. Although most nights all guests kept it very low, one can hear a lot throughout the hotel. That may cause a lot of trouble for others

Good camping. Huge pitches under the trees. Nice swimming pool. Close to the beach. Toilets with hot water however a bit salty. Weak point - Very very loud animations which last until 1 am.

A very nice and peaceful place with a beautiful view. The restaurant staff doesn’t speak English, which can be inconvenient. Located right on the first sea line 👍

The beach is just a short walk away and is clean, calm, and ideal for children to enjoy the sea safely

The pool area was a big hit, there are shallow areas perfect for toddlers, and lots of space for older kids to swim and splash around

The animation team was outstanding: full of energy and great with children, offering daily games, mini-club activities, and evening shows that kept everyone entertained

Whether you're looking to relax by the pool, enjoy a hike through beautiful trails, or participate in one of the many organized events, there's something for everyone

Wonderful place right in front of the beautiful coast. Safe swimming for small kids. Camping area is flat and nicely shadowed. Great services too, from the kite school to the supermarket (thanks a lot to Anna and Lucia)!

If you are a family with small kids and parents which wants to have some fun windsurfing/kitesurfing, this is simply perfect 👌 Friendly staff and low prices, which add to the pros 👍

Nice place to stay Brand new Restaurant...

Kitchen rather poorly equipped: NO WINE OPENER, if you don't have your own need to go to the bar to have a wine opened - this is a crime in Italy). The camp itself - will not kill you with it's atmosphere ;)

Location is the biggest asset of this camping. We slept in Apartment - rather big kind of cottage. Inside just beds, tables and chairs clozet - nothing special

Staff were amazing and this is a great way to visit Pogliano. The old town is really the only place to visit and so being right in it is great

We booked last minute and had the best room we could ever have asked for: the executive room with sea view is extraordinary, it is an apartment that allows you to be completely independent but still enjoy the food from the caffe and the cleaning everyday

The suite is wonderful, set over three floors. Decoration is to a high standard and the team are attentive. Ideally situated at the centre of Polignano to explore the town and surrounding area.

The breakfast each morning was exceptional and the staff could not have been more helpful or lovely. We were so sad to leave and can’t wait for our next stay! Grazie mille!

Although it was out-of-season and the pool closed it is easy to imagine how busy and popular this would be in the summer months

As the weather was still warm and sunny we enjoyed sitting on the large terraces to look at the sea. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very welcoming and attentive

The hotel is more a 3 star than 4. But it is clean and comfortable. A little bit Padrino's daughter wedding style. Restaurant is very good. Pool and "concrete" beach are nice..

After nearly two weeks in Puglia (Taranto and south) we decided to head back to Bari for an early flight Sunday and discovered the charming town of Giovinazzo, a few miles north of the airport

We dined on our final evening in the hotel's elegant dining area and found ourselves, surprisingly, to be the only guests, again because out-of-season

Hotel Lafayette is a boutique hotel, very modern, very stylish and about 800 meters north of the historic port and town. It is also handily close to an exit/entrance to SS 16, less than 20 minutes to Bari airport

What we liked above all was the size: it is not a huge resort, rather a well distributed hotel with indoor and nice outdoor amenities (a small but cozy pool, direct access to the sea with sandy flooring for sunbathing and rocky seabed, which makes it a much better experience from a water clarity and fish presence perspective)

Very cool place,nice view and is located on the beach.Prepare delicious and for dessert, exotic fruits

Food was in general of ok quality, despite many repeated items on the buffet of appetizers and the sometimes (surprisingly) not great fish plates. In general the ‘primi’ were all good, the ‘secondi’ not always on par

As a difference between this setup and the one others might be used to in bigger structures, the buffet is exclusively for appetizers, desserts and fruit: the ‘main’ courses must be selected on the spot and you are given the choice of 2 primi and 2 secondi

Beach was amazing and the staff were always incredibly polite and helpful. We were a little bit wary having read some reviews but thought it excellent and wished we had stayed for two nights

The hotel is beautifully located above the Bay of the Zagare (or Mergoli). It has a lift that gives direct access to the private beach, which is the main region to stay at this hotel

Visit at the Hotel was also an opportunity to see breathtaking views of Gargano and spend quality and fun time with our family and friends on a beach

We did not hire sun loungers as there was adequate space on the beach and did not eat dinner there

Five stars in a wonderful eco responsible hotel. Simple, but filling, breakfast…great music! Visit the bees upstairs on the rooftop. Extremely attentive staff. Located very near the old town and shopping.

It was pleasant experience to stay here. This was my first hotel in Puglia and they made me a pretty good impression. The room was nice and clean also very spacious

We stayed here for three nights in May 2025. It turned out to be a great choice. The rooms were nice and very clean. However the best thing was the staff, They could not have been more accommodating

I must comment on the plentiful selection of choices available at breakfast which included local specialities - delicious. The rooftop area with loungers of various types was lovely

Absolutely LOVED my stay here! To start off with they gave me an upgrade to a sea-view room which was BREATHTAKING! Made my trip 100 times better because the view was really amazing

I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo. The room has a breathtaking sea view. The dining room staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to help. The culinary services are excellent

We had a sea view room which was spacious and comfortable. Nice area to stay to visit here and other places on the coast down to Santa Maria de Leuca & inland

We stayed here from September 18th to 21st, the last few days before closing. Although we were a little hesitant due to the reviews, I have to say we had a great time

Food was accurate, quality was ok. Did not like that on the rate was not enclosed the place on beach. That had to be settled as extra. And for an hotel on the sea this is quite odd

Lunches were reasonable for the price and season: appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, various side dishes, and fruit or dessert, with water and wine included

The beach is nice, but unfortunately the rocks are a bit annoying with a small child, but we happily used the saltwater pool and the whirlpools on the solarium

the basis for the first of the fish was the same for all. it's not about the fruit that is lacking in the full season of watermelons , fioroni, apricots , peaches, plums, etc

The rooftop breakfast overlooking the sea was fantastic with lots of local produce. The staff throughout the property were so knowledgeable and helpful. We can’t recommend highly enough

An amazing stay at this beautiful boutique property in the heart of Polignano a Mare. Set in a wonderful location, the hotel rooms are characteristic and outstanding in every sense

And, as an amazing bonus, as a guest of the hotel, you are entitled to an exclusive, e-hour Wellness visit to their amazing spa. It is underground in a gorgeous stone cavern, very elegant and beautifully designed

The spa was amazing (clean and rejuvenating), breakfast was delicious, and best of all, the staff were all super friendly, respectively, and helpful

I would have lounged in the main room where there were refreshments but I was a bit cold (due to the temperature of the room contrast with care facilities. I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend the experience

I enjoyed the chroma shower, Turkish bath /sauna, tepid water tub, warm salt wall room and had an exceptionally relaxing time. They provided water, juice and fresh fruit. I moved from room to room at my pace

It is an excellent place, even for families. It is close to the train station, and every spot in Trani is close, less than a 15-minute walk. The breakfast is amazing, like a buffer. I enjoyed my five-day reservation.

We asked reception to switch to a room on the street side and got it arranged for our 2nd day without problem

The Hotel is near train station,City Center in Trani…easy access to Highway to another Cities. The Staff are all friendly, the breakfast Buffet was more than enough.

Unfortunately, ALL loyalty is not “as important” here but hopefully the team’s approach will be improved. Overall, good value hotel so would stay again

I had great service at the front desk with registration issues due to my mistake. I had a dinner in the hotel restaurant which was wonderful.

Decent Ibis located close to the station (quiet room nevertheless) and short walk from the centre. Breakfast had decent choices as well

The spa was very nice! Relaxing. It had several sections which was a nice change from just a pool and sauna. The moose showers with scented water were unique for us and enjoyable

It would be also recommendable to give more information about the seasons of the pool to get a better understanding when it’s open or not. The bar is in October not really used

However we did find the sauna didn’t heat up very much, and water poured on the rocks didn’t evaporate violently. It just evaporated eventually. And the steam room didn’t get steamy. BUT it was still good enough in all

We visited this hotel as part of a tour of Puglia. We were a large group but the hotel were able to cater for us really well. Our room was very large with a good sized bathroom

The breakfast was until 10:30, but when we arrived towards 09:55/10:00, some food was already gone and I haven’t seen (4 days) that any additional food would have been added

I feel like this hotel could need a renovation, but that’s just my personal opinion when it comes to the style and overall condition

I love this hotel and have been there a few times. Everything is good, the service, the food, the incredibly beautiful sea in front of it

Adjacent beaches apparently have great swimming but unfortunately not at the Costa Brada. The rooms are clean, in fact they have a little sign under the bed to show guests how clean the floor is!

You have to walk a long, long way into the sea for the water to cover your legs. This was a major disappointment and put me off visiting again

On this occasion I would like to write and praise in particular two gentlemen amongst the staff: Giuseppe , the manager of the breakfast and lunch hall and Louis, the manager at the bar in the Lobby

This is a good hotel about 12 minutes from the airport (€35 taxi) . Breakfast was good, room is nice enough and it’s not far from the sea

It's an Ibis and as such is at par with what you expect from an Ibis. Reasonable quality at reasonable price. Good facilities such as bar, smoking area a sea view terrace and secure car park.

I recently enjoyed a comfortable stay at ibis Styles Bari Giovinazzo. The hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was accommodating. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, providing a pleasant retreat

The hotel is very clean, the only drawback is that it is quite noisy. It is one of the most cost-effective hotels abroad. I will stay here again next time I am on a business trip

Situated on a small island connected by its own small bridge from the mainland by the Torre (old watch tower), has it's own small beach, restaurant and further still it's own pool party island with music, bars, roof top jacuzzi and sunbeds everywhere with some fantastic views out to sea

Lovely location on island accessed via a bridge. Overlooking the marina an d town. Decor a little tired but kept clean by the staff. Good walking access to beaches both ways. Fantastic restaurants in town

Looking through the windows if you book the sea view, you can really see amazing colours of rising sun!! Very suggested for romantic holidays or sea deep bath!!
