Perfect location, right in the middle of everything. Our room had an amazing balcony and was very spacious. The only downside was that the WiFi in that room was not working while we were there, but the issue should be fixed now.

This was our favorite hotel on the trip. The staff were great offering wonderful suggestions, arranging a tour and taxi to catch our very early train. Wonderful hotel in a great location in Matera. Each room was different and wonderful (we had four rooms). The staff was great and the transfers to/from the parking garage were perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

Was unable to partake in breakfast. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful except the man (or shuttle driver) when we arrived that nite. I don’t appreciate being yelled at by staff at a hotel I paid for. Was not very understanding and rude.

We were knocked out by the comtempory feel and stylish interior to what is simply a cave. It was fresh and perfect. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Even the lovely lady at breakfast remembered what we liked to drink with our breakfast.

This was my second visit to Le Dodici Luna and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the lovely, spacious room. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Matera. I also think it is worth staying at least two nights so you have time to see everything. The included breakfast is great and includes homemade yogurt.

The courtyard is charming and we were greeted warmly. During check in we were given a quick orientation of the old city with a map. Our room was comfortable and, as were were there during some clear November days, we did not experience dampness. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

I was staying there for four nights, unfortunately weather was not good, so i couldnt swim at that magnificent beach there, which is about ten minutes of walk. It was three beautiful Jordanians. Matera and the Murgia is unique and the position of the apartment practically in the stones allows you to live it in full day and night. One-night stay in October. The hotel deserves stars (cleanliness, quiet, pleasant welcome), but if you want to go out in the evening, forget it. Everything is closed at this time of year, and Policoro doesn't really have any appeal.

The property is not properly finished. Although the staff were very helpful & bedrooms were good, it wasn't within walking distance of any restaurants as the surrounding area is undeveloped. However, there were buses into the centre about 7 or 8 minutes walk.

Chose this hotel because it is close to the bus stop where we took a bus out of Matera. Hence we had to walk about 20 minutes to reach Matera square. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had all meals there and managed to cover all viewpoints planned.

A good spot from which to explore historic Matera This was a very modern hotel about 20 min walk from the old historic center. It was close to the Villa Longo train station which made it easier to arrive! Lovely breakfast in the morning!

The hotel service is very good, everyone is very enthusiastic, the environment is great, the scenery is also good, we paid extra to upgrade to the largest cave room, it was like living in nature, very warm with floor heating, the room was super quiet, the bath water was big and hot, the restaurant was beautiful, there was tea to drink, it was the best night's sleep we had.

Great place to experience the magic of Matera. Very nice breakfast in a large and atmospheric cave room. The cave rooms are cosy in early spring and definitely an experience. We opted in for the guided tour of Sassi which ended up being a highlight of our trip (many thanks to Alessio L).

My visit was short since I only went for a business meeting but the hotel is really nice. It's located right in the heart of Potenza with many cafés and restaurants all around, yet quiet and cosy. The staff/owners were really nice. The room is decorated with antiques, kind of hipster. I wish I had more time there.

A wonderful hotel where we spent six nights. The setting is beautiful and the service very friendly. The staff is super helpful. I've almost forgotten, it should be in Matura, a nice city. The hotel was good except for the price-performance ratio; the bathroom was huge, but the air conditioning was a bit insufficient. The bathroom and room were on different levels, probably due to the terrain.

My flight was delayed and my check-in time was in the middle of the night, but they waited for me. Of course, I had contacted them on the way there to let them know that I would be delayed. They were also very friendly and even carried my luggage for me. Thank you very much.

The best hotel I have visit for this trip. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Easiest way to reach hotel is to go to Matera Centrale via ferrovie train from Bari Centrale. Than a bus near the train station will fetch you the doorstep. Very efficient location.

Staff had difficulty telling me where property actually was, when phoned in with problem.
