One of the best holidays we have ever had! Staff were amazing, the hotel grounds were stunning and everywhere smelt of flowers.

We stayed for a week in October in a two bedroom family room which was perfect for our stay with two young children. Imagine Centre Parcs in the sun, with a beautiful beach accessed through a wooded area, well tended grounds , numerous pools and activities galore. Rooms are spacious and clean. Stayed here for 1 night in a Junior Suite, 1 bedroom (sea facing) while travelling from Tropea to Positano. We stay in modern part which is closer to the beach, rooms are ok however very small.. If you dont pay extra, you get the view to the busy steeet. Double bed for small children not the best option and there is nothing else to choose from. What is really wierd, requirement to swim in swimming caps at the outdoor pools…. This hotel is completely over rated! The food is horrible and the free alcohol is watered down. The pools are not heated including the hot tubs. Everyone smokes everywhere. This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well. The park is wonderful with lots of plants and flowers from various parts of the world. All is well maintained on a daily basis. Personnel is friendly and professional. Three of us stayed in April 2024, and it was a wonderful experience. Very beautiful village directly on the sea, full of vegetation, lawns and well-kept plants. A nice hotel with spartanly furnished rooms. It's far from everything and difficult to reach by any means of transport. Not recommended for those with limited mobility. There's little to do nearby, and the beach is quite a steep descent. It's reasonable and plentiful. The pool is small with a few sunbeds. The staff is helpful.

Having never been to Calabria, we had open minds. Recommended by our travel agent, Hotel Savant suited our needs perfectly. Saverio (Sav) and brother Antonio (ant) provided friendly, inclusive and responsive hospitality. In fact, Saverio was our driver and tour guide one day. Sure, the decor is dated but it’s central and clean. If your budget doesn’t permit 5 stars, I would recommend.

Pros: perfect for couples. Parking available. Amazing view. Private and quiet. Attentive staff. Cons: the building and the common areas need maintenance and some love. The AC in our room did not work properly. They only give you one keycard, so the AC turns on when you come in to the room. Not ideal after spending the day at the beach or in town.

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff).

Oasis of peace Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!

The location of the hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are nice, only the restaurant has a smaller selection of food. My husband doesn’t eat fish or seafood, so he had trouble choosing. Absolutely wonderful stay! The resort is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Strait of Messina, beautiful gardens, and a real sense of peace. We had a very good stay. We reserved a room for persons with disabilities, it was rather tight although very clean and suitable to our needs. However, we strongly suggest adding a curtain/barrier to the shower, a water spill in the bathroom poses a slippery/accident risk for people in a wheelchair and their helpers. A nicely redecorated hotel in the centre of Reggio. Rooms are small and all without balconies, but cosy enough. The breakfast room is rather blend, but you can get a variety of homemade pastries that and jams that are exquisite. The location is perfect as well.

This hotel is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. When we arrived by train the hotel asked if we wanted a taxi but we were unsure when we were going to arrive so we told them we would just grab one ourselves when we arrived well there are not taxis available at all! We called the hotel and they told us it would be 40 min before they could come and get us so we decided to walk the mile to the resort...
