What a WanderFull place !!!

I stayed at Hotel La Playa the third week of September.
The property is beautiful: a well-kept garden, a panoramic terrace where you can have breakfast and lunch right on the sea, and above all, a private beach with truly spectacular waters (well-deserved 2025 Blue Flag). My room had a garden/sea view: breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets.

Special mention goes to the lifeguard (I think his name is Maurizio) and his assistant: two true professionals, always available and kind, even with a large crowd.

There were also some downsides: the room was very dated, with visible dust and 1980s-style furnishings. The bathroom had a clogged air vent and unattractive aquamarine tiles. The prices were also out of proportion: water was €3.50 for 0.75 cl, and the evening à la carte menu was overpriced for the portions. Breakfast was decent, lunch was good (especially fish), but service was sometimes cold and rushed.

In conclusion: a worthwhile place for its sea and location, but the overall quality doesn't match the price. It was a pleasant three days, but I personally wouldn't return.

For several years, my husband and I have driven countless miles to reach this earthly paradise. The hotel, which has parking and a beautiful, well-maintained beach, is located just steps from the charming town of Acciaroli. The property is clean, and breakfast and dinner are served on a large terrace overlooking the sea, where you can admire stunning, colorful Cilento sunsets. The dinner dishes are simple, but carefully prepared with top-quality ingredients. Breakfast is acceptable, but could be improved in terms of variety and quality.
Ilenia and Andrea at the reception are always available, and the waiters at dinner are also very kind. A special thanks to Maurizio, who is always ready to understand and accommodate the guests' needs.

Truly a gem in an enchanting location, with an enviable position. The staff is extremely friendly, and a special compliment goes to the lifeguard, Mr. Carmine, for his professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness. He's truly a delightful person who always strives to make your holiday more peaceful and relaxing.

Great hotel in a great location. We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed it. Excellent location on the sea and practically close to the center. Excellent service. Decent room, good cleaning. Convenient parking. To improve the kitchen. Overall I recommend it

NEVER RECEIVED SUCH EXCELLENT TREATMENT IN A 3 STAR HOTEL!
I go away after a weekend of relaxation and not
I can help but thank all the staff at the
facility for the treatment received.
There is not a negative note, from the kindness and
availability of people to the comfort of the rooms.
Structure directly on the beach, excellent restaurant,
clean and comfortable rooms.
But that extra touch comes from human value:
since we arrived Mr. Leone and all his
staff did not miss anything. We asked
the possibility of staying on the beach even on the day of
departure and the possibility of a late check out. There is
everything was granted, obviously because they weren't there
new arrivals being mid-September, but all with the
smile on our lips and without asking for extras.
This is the true testimony of how much it makes a difference
customer focus in a tourist facility, e
the absolute lack of intention of wanting to make a profit.
We will definitely see Hotel la playa again.

Paid about 250 € in half board one night for a room that was supposed to have a nice balcony with sea view and half board with beach service. The room was old and uncared for, the very small bathroom had no window and the ventilation worked, you couldn't even lean on the small balcony because it was a piece of rust. As for dinner, nothing special ... The one who took care of the tables denied us the table near the glass window that overlooked the sea even though there were other free tables ... In short, an experience that was not pleasant at all except the kindness of the reception and the lifeguard. ..

The kindness of the staff and a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea are the strong points of this hotel in Acciaroli. The sea is crystal clear and the beach service included in the price these days is definitely an advantage. The room was small but well maintained with air conditioning and new bathroom, no complaints. Surely a hotel directly on the sea allows you to rest and recharge your batteries for the working week, so I hope to be back soon!
