The Poseidon Hotel is arguably one of the best hotels in the world we've had the pleasure of staying at. The staff goes out of their way to help, and every aspect of the experience was truly perfect—we simply parked our car at the hotel entrance and were transported to classic Positano luxury. The highlights of our stay—the view from our suite was stunning, and one evening we dined on our terrace for a super-intimate experience. It's not like the typical room service cart left in your room, but rather silverware in your room, where waiters approach you with every course. The Trident Restaurant serves delicious food. Fresh pastries, eggs, pancakes, bread... And every morning you're greeted and treated as if you were one of the family. I'm fairly certain at least 1 kg of our holiday weight loss is due to Michele's advice (he truly is the perfect host). We also had lunch there, which was one of the best meals we had all week. It's very easy to keep a car; whenever we need one, the reception staff picks it up from the garage within minutes, and when we arrive, you simply leave it near the hotel. One afternoon, we went for a swim, had a drink in the pool, and enjoyed the view of Positano. My wife prefers being on the beach itself, but personally, I preferred it. On the plus side, the room was comfortable, there's an elevator for carrying luggage, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

A very friendly place. First of all, the view is amazing. The view of Positano from the terrace is truly stunning. The restaurant where we had breakfast is wonderful, the cocktails we had at night were delicious, and the night view of Positano from the cocktail bar is also incredibly beautiful.

I came to the pool and had a 5-star experience! Liliana emailed me before my visits to Positano and was so helpful and quick to communicate back and forth! Alessandro served me at the pool, and Luca after my shift. They were both so welcoming, and it was such wonderful service! Even if you're not staying there, be sure to go to the pool! The views are next-level, and the service is amazing!

First, we got an upgrade to a Junior Suite with stunning views of Positano. The suite and property as a whole were super clean! The gourmet food at their II Tridente Restaurant was mouth watering!! But their main attraction was their amazing staff! Particularly Anna at the Front Desk and Luigi and Luca at the bar. If there is a downside is that the property is showing its age. Other than that..kudos!!

We absolutely loved this hotel — it’s amazingly gorgeous, with the perfect mix of vintage charm and luxury. The views from the terrace were breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the beautiful tiled floors gave it such authentic character. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed and cared for. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and kind — they made us feel genuinely welcome. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. At check in the staff for so friendly and helpful. During the whole stay, all of the staff were so friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building with oodles of character, which works perfectly for a holiday in Positano. The breakfast each day was simple and classic, very tasty, and the service was first class. The hotel restaurant was also one of the best meals which we experienced during our week in Positano.
