B&B Dei Decumani in Naples

This hotel is budget and you get what you pay for. If you go in eyes wide open then you will be more than okay. We did and overall we were quite happy here. Would we stay again if in Naples? Possibly. If you're happy with basic, no frills, clean and functional room to act as a base where you can leave your stuff whilst you go out on foot, or day trips, then this is great. If you like your home comforts and want spend more than a few hours during the day in your room then you need find somewhere else. This one is not B&B but it did say that in the room details when we booked but they really should remove that from the title as it's very misleading. Good: - Only 45mins from airport. We got the Alibus for 5euros each which takes 30mins into town, then a 15 minute walk but you could take taxi direct for about 25euros. - Excellent central location, you can walk to most places in Naples from catacombs in north (30mins) to the sea port in the south (10mins) - Close to metro, tram and buses. - Lots of eateries up and down immediate street whilst being able to walk 5mins into centre where you you'll find abundance of places to eat & drink. - Clean rooms with wifi and tv (though to be honest we didn't need to use either so can't vouch for them). - We booked a room with a street balcony and whilst quite small it's good to sit and watch / listen to the city life (especially with a beer or wine) - Small Balcony but room also well insulated from street noise, you can still hear it but very low and we didn't find it a bother at all. - Staff were pleasant, very quick to respond to requests and check-in / out was easy. They don't tend to be there much but you can call them which was fine for us. - Close to mini market for getting in those room snacks, drinks wine etc. Not so good: - Only a kettle in room and the very small amount of complimentary coffee / tea / milk upon arrival wasn't replenished like most hotels when room was cleaned every 2 days. With no way to chill shop bought milk it curdled overnight at room temp. Small touch to replace would have been appreciated as nice to get up and have a hot drink without having to go out and buy one. - Downstairs is a tattoo shop and whilst that isn't a problem there were always small groups hanging around near street entrance smoking **** so for a few hours every day the whole entrance wreaked and was quite unpleasant for us non smokers. Thankfully, as used as a base we weren't there that often. - Not great signage so not very obvious to find, even though street number is visible you just expect a sign. We walked past it 3 times to start with.

The property is in a good location: it is just a few minutes walk from the main streets of Naples and the underground line. It's very convenient to walk around the city centre. The area is a little busy at night. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Some of the bathrooms have recently been refurbished and are truly splendid! The mattresses are extremely comfortable and conducive to sleep! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, I don't think I've ever met such helpful people! My experience is certainly positive: if I were to return to Naples, I would definitely stay here!

Had a lovely stay in an very well located area of Naples, great spacious rooms which we had a balcony looking over the street with a 30 second walk to the city cathedral. Had a brilliant breakfast in the morning and Tania was extremely helpful getting us to the airport as well as navigating the city.
Would highly recommend and hard to find a better located spot in the historical center of Naples.

I spent 2 nights (not in line) in that B&B and both nights were really fine. Differents rooms and both were big, confortable and with air conditioning.
Staff was really friendly and helped us in everything.
And just per 20-25€ per night per double guest room!
Location is perfect, heart of Napoli!
