I'll start by saying that, considering the price, there's really nothing to complain about: the quality-price ratio is good. The food is excellent, always varied and well-prepared.
The facility, however, isn't very modern, and in my opinion, it's not a true family hotel: it's not particularly child-friendly. The baby and mini clubs are run by very young and somewhat inexperienced people, so the organization isn't the best.
As for the entertainment, I personally wasn't thrilled, although it must be said that the manager is very friendly and helpful.
The beach isn't easily accessible on foot, but there is a convenient and punctual shuttle. I, however, always preferred to travel by car.
Overall, a good resort if you don't have high expectations and are looking for a quiet stay with excellent food, but I wouldn't recommend it to those traveling with small children.

We just finished our stay at this wonderful hotel. It's full of welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff, starting with the dear manager, "a great magician." The entertainment program is engaging, led by Antonio, a great artist, with many talented, albeit young, people. The staff, the waiters, the chefs, were all kind and very helpful. It was a fantastic, relaxing week, and we felt like family. Greetings to everyone.

I'm happy with my experience at the Marcaneto Hotel. My 4-year-old daughter, Rita, had a great time, as did my wife and I. The staff at the hotel are helpful, kind, and polite. I found the rooms spotlessly clean. The entertainment staff were very professional and friendly, as were the beach staff and the shuttle service staff. My daughter had a great time, and that's what makes me happiest. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the dining room staff was friendly and helpful. The manager is a wonderful person, always available and attentive to all the guests' needs. Keep up the good work... We plan to return next year, especially since our daughter is already insisting she wants to return. Best regards, Pasquale.

very poor service. hotel hosted a private party with loud music right under our balcony and couldn't sleep until late a night, called several times the reception and they did nothing.

We had the misfortune to spend the only week of vacation in this structure.
The rooms and the dated hotel, we had the room facing the wall.
The wifi didn't work, room with only 2 sockets behind the bedside tables that had to be moved every time. Access to the restaurant only via stairs, which with a stroller becomes very uncomfortable. The kitchen seemed to always eat the same things, the taste did not change.
The rundown pool bar, the lifeguard also did bar service.
We do not talk about the baby bottle.
Insufficient shuttle service for the number of guests, a 6-seater car for 200 people, in fact we went down to the sea with our car.
The beach is something scandalous, you didn't always manage to get a sunbed.
The entertainment was unmanned and offered little, yet we paid for the club cards.
I do not recommend it.

I went with my partner and some friends who knew the place. First time in Cilento, in Scario. A charming little place, with a magical center and a private beach (sun beds and deck chairs) of the clean hotel with a breathtaking sea. In addition, the structure is located slightly above the coast and from the room (sea view) there is a view ... seeing is believing! The staff were polite, welcoming and very helpful. Thanks, we'll be back

We stayed at the Marcaneto Hotel to allow ourselves a few days of relaxation and to discover the Gulf of Policastro with Scario and its sea. Between nature and the marvelous view of the gulf from the Belvedere of the hotel we were able to enjoy the excellent service, cleanliness of the rooms and hospitality of the staff and management of the hotel Marcaneto.
An extra star for the excellent cuisine of the chef Mauro who delighted us at every lunch and dinner with so much care and attention to detail. Very fresh fish and quality table products. We had a really good time and will return to Scario at this property with pleasure. Well done
