This was our last destination on our honeymoon in Italy which included the west and east of Sicily and positano in the amalfi coast. This was the highlight. We woke up to stunning views of the coast and Pompeii on one side, and mount Vesuvius on the other. All while surrounded by beautiful vineyards. We had a tour of the vineyard along with a four course meal and wine tasting and it was top class. Can’t recommend that enough. Our only small complaint was the noise of the staff very early as they set out to work on the vineyard. While we understood they have to work, there seemed to be no respect for the sleeping guests. Not a reason not to stay however! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We will be back as soon as possible with the rest of our family. Recommend renting a high SUV particularly if staying in the guest houses, but not essential. Short distance from Pompeii ruins, amalfi coast and Naples.

Raphael, who runs the Vesuvio Inn, was a true gentleman and a gracious host. The property is situated on the Sorrentino vineyard/winery. From the Inn, you walk through the vineyard, which is worth the stay alone, to get to the Sorrentino winery. We had a horrific taxi experience where our cab driver frustratingly dropped us off at the winery rather than the Inn. You can imagine being dropped off with luggage not yet knowing the lay of the land. We unknowingly schlepped our luggage up a steep drive to find the winery and Umberto, the sommelier, who was very welcoming. We had a serendipitous experience in great company with wonderful wine and breathe taking views. Thank you for the terrific experience! Umberto we hope to see you in Jacksonville next month on your wine tour!

Vesuvio Inn and Sorrentino Winery was a wonderful experience. A big shout out to Benjamin fora fantastic experience and thanks for answering all our questions. Working with Raffael at the Inn was an easy task for me. Staff is very pleasant and aims to please.

The photographs are deceiving. The rooms have no windows, and the door isn't glass, giving the impression we're sleeping in a hole. The supposedly different experience is nothing more than a meager breakfast in a structure located in a vineyard belonging to the hotel. We arrived for breakfast 15 minutes before closing, and the attendant stared at us and her watch with an angry expression. The noise early in the morning, combined with the poor quality of the bed, made the two nights we spent at the hotel a very negative experience. We changed hotels. We'd rather waste our money and pay for two nights elsewhere.

This place looks a lot better online than in reality. None of the rooms have any windows and they smelled like chemicals were used a lot. The breakfast location was nice but had the worst coffee you can possibly have in Italy. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Amazing place to stay ! It’s beautiful , clean, comfortable and friendly ! 100% recommended Very good price , in site parking with gate , rooms are large and clean Breakfast its another great experience with the grape vines view ! Wine experience its also very good

Nice and friendly welcome incl. Neat family room with everything you need. Plenty of sun loungers and a bar around the pool. Wine tasting with matching dishes in their vineyard is also recommended. Advice on choosing restaurants in the area.

We chose this Inn because of the location and we wanted a relaxing break to start our vacation. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Raffaello at the front desk makes you feel like family and he takes care of everything you need. We booked the package that included dinner, cooking class and vineyard tour with wine tasting. Dinner was served in our room in takeout containers with a bottle of wine. It was tasty and we were glad to be able to eat in our room after a long day of traveling. We walked to breakfast and were amazed at the views from the vineyard where breakfast is served. Had a great breakfast (we ate too much!) and then took our cooking class with Helena which was fantastic. We made homemade gnocchi which we later got to eat for lunch. The vineyard is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We then had wine tasting with Carmelo which was also very good paired with our lunch. We then spent time at the Inns beautiful pool on the roof. Our stay was amazing and just what we needed! Only con was that we are too much food because it was very good! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle!

Lovely room, clean, comfortable and great customer service. Loved that you could buy drinks and snacks from the reception area. The pool area- wow it was amazing. We didn’t use the pool as un heated but was so beautiful. Sun beds were comfy and well maintained- wonderful staff too! Only thing that let it down was the breakfast which was poor. No hot food option and although the cakes were nice, there wasn’t much variety. No glasses available for juice or milk for cereal.
