The hotel has an excellent location and is rated 4 stars. I stayed alone, and the room was quite small. In the room,  did have an unpleasant smell.

The room's location is excellent; right outside the hotel is the train station, which is perfect for exploring around Bologna. It might be a bit far from the city center, though. The overnight tax was incredibly expensive, 23.2 euros for two people.

Great place for late night arrival and early flights

I walked from Bologna airport late at night. I walked on pavements a large grass verge and a quiet road. Other reviews say the route is not safe but as long as you are not with children I would disagree. It took about 20 mins to walk it and coming back I was able to take the reasonably large mini bus which was then running in the morning. Excellent location just opposite to central station but 15-20mins to Piazza Maggiore/the old town centre. Service was very good, especially concierge. Very spacious room size. We are on the 7/F and got a view overlooking the city. The only issue was the sink drainage was not good and overflown. Overall good experience and recommended.

The hotel is conveniently located by the sea and easy to reach. Competent and friendly receptionists checked us in quickly. The room was well furnished and clean with a useful safe. The bathroom contained all the necessary for my grooming routine. Definitely a place to stay in when in Cervia.

The rooms are fabulous and the staff is amazing

We were staying there at the end of September and the place shuts down for the off-season on October 15. Unsurprisingly, Le Palme didn’t put forth its best effort. The fitness center had broken machines and the staff was rarely where you needed them. The place is very dated and has noisy ACs, toilets, etc.

The rooms were very hot. 72F was the coolest available temperature. It was 65-68 outside so opening the window didn't help much. They offered a different room but indicated this was a building wide setting to only have heat in October. It wasn't a good sleep location.

Luxury hotels elsewhere could learn a thing or two from GHR’s staff with regard to guest service. If one finds oneself in delightful Rimini, just drive here and check in—there’s no other option quite like the GHR.

Stayed one night when I arrived late in Bologna. Perfect start of my mini Italian trip. Great service, really yummy breakfast in the morning. Perfect location as I was only staying one night before heading out to San Marino. Walked over to the bus was easy. Getting SIM card in the morning was easy.

Great hotel. Ideally located for the E45 and the airport. Stayed here after flying in from the UK in the evening, before driving down to Rimini and San Marino.

Have little to say more than what Sarah reed wrote 2 months ago really well. So will not repeat and I liked her review instead. Reason for the 3 instead of the 5 star rating is that in some places the hotel could do with a look/ feel repair … but for the price I paid really good value ( stayed in superior room). Do check out the restaurant for diner and the breakfast do Not skip that.
