The hotel is nice, central and very convenient if we talk about connections, unfortunately I have to assign an insufficient rating due to problems related to the concierge staff. I enter and am greeted by a gentleman who barely speaks to me, only a "good evening, the room is on the top left", no Wi-Fi password, no instructions for breakfast, no explanations regarding other policies of the hotel, I just found so much coldness. The stay was pleasant, in the sense that the room was nice and the breakfast (included) even if it was made up of packaged food, offered various things and the person who served me was courteous.
The worst thing, however, was the check out, I was practically forced to pay twice because the money from the reservation I had made at the end of October had not arrived at the property, the issue seems to have been caused by Booking, but it was clear that if it was his fault (the gentleman at the reception I mentioned earlier), he really didn't know how to handle online reservations. He insisted that the money had not arrived and that I should have asked Booking for a refund, paying a second time. Even in the face of evidence, since I showed him that Booking had taken my money, he didn't want to know, I paid to be fair, but it would have been easier if he, who can have more direct contact with these things , had asked Booking for an explanation, thus solving the problem, but since he was unable to do so, he preferred to dump the matter on me.
I don't want to offend anyone, but if you are no longer able to do a certain job, then it is better to leave the job to someone who can do it. In 2022 it's not possible to hear phrases like "it was better when it was worse, I don't understand anything about online bookings", it's really unprofessional, times change and it's unacceptable to do a wrong to a customer like this. This payment problem could have been avoided if someone more capable had been in his place, but instead I found myself faced with an unpleasant situation. I am still waiting for the refund of the second payment that I rightly have to receive. The establishment should change its mentality, otherwise it will continue to have a lot of complaints.
