E H Suites Rome Airport in Fiumicino

The room was large and comfortable. The check in was easy and very courteous. The tv was impossible to use...maybe it was just me but couldn't figure it out. The bathroom was nice except the rain shower head was very weak, and the handheld was kept in place by zip ties, and not very well. There was also no where to hold the soap while showering. I often wonder who designs bathrooms and why don't they think of such things. The desk staff arranged a morning transfer for us which was cheaper than a taxi so that was great. The Best Western next door had a nice restaurant and the food was some of the best we had our entire trip. All in all it was a good experience.

The two young men at the front desk were very helpful. I booked the top-floor loft room, which requires extra caution as it's very easy to bump your head. The hotel offers an airport shuttle service for €20, or you can take a taxi for about €30 one way. I took the bus, which cost €1.50 each time and only took 10 minutes. The hotel is very close to the airport, and the price isn't too expensive. There are also Chinese restaurants nearby.

Everything was wonderful, clean, service, etc. Next time I would stay for more than 1 night.
Less than 5 km from Fiumicino airport. Only public transport is not convenient. That's why the hotel provides a transfer to the airport. The more people you have, the more profitable it is. Unfortunately, we could not contact them to provide us with one upon arrival. You can catch a bus for 1 euro from Terminal 3 to the center of Fiumicino and from there it is close if you are without luggage, if you have a lot of luggage you can see far away :)

The staff was absolutely amazing! super helpful and polite! However, as a budget-conscious solo traveler, getting to the hotel wasn’t the easiest. I had to go to the airport first, and from there, despite the short 5km distance, I ended up paying 35 euros for a taxi. In the morning, I had to pay another 20 euros to get back to the airport, though it was cheaper this time thanks to the reception staff booking a car in advance. The area itself is very quiet, with only one or two restaurants nearby and not much else. Honestly, if I had known I’d be spending that much just for a short stay, I would have booked a hotel at the airport instead.
