Hotel Il Gabbiano in La Maddalena

The location is of course very good, but that’s unfortunately one of the few positive things to say about this place. The rooms are very outdated and a little bit of renovation wouldn’t hurt at all. But to be honest this is not a thing you could complain about taking in account the low price you pay for such a beautiful location. The thing that does justify complaining, is the cleanliness, upon entering the room looked pretty clean, but after an hour or so my wife started to get an allergic reaction which surprised us a lot. So after some research we found out the room was really really dusty, everywhere from under the bed, to behind the doors, around the fridge everywhere we found big collections of dust.
We went downstairs to the reception to ask if we could borrow a broom or something so we could sweep it ourselves quickly, but the woman behind the desk wasn’t interested and just told us that she didn’t have a broom, which surprises me for a hotel but ok…
In the end we fixed it ourself and had a good nights rest. Problems occur everywhere but it is how you solve it. Btw at least the bathroom was clean.

Terrible terrible service at the restaurant! Really ruined the mood of the day.
