B&B Le Saline in Syracuse

Very nice place with excellent host Stefano. He gave us good tips for places to visit. Homemade breakfast was very nice with fresh juice and cappuccino. Room was nice and clean. Highly recommendation!

This is a beautiful property, which is run by Stefano, who is a wonderful host along with his mother. They are the most helpful and friendly hosts we encountered while on our trip in Sicily. The B&B is lovely and well maintained. Our room had large terrace overlooking a beautiful panorama of wetlands with flamingos. It is well located and within a five minute ride to Ortigia. Stefano prepares very delicious breakfast and accommodated my gluten-free needs . When we revisit this area, we will definitely be returning.

Our second stay here at Stefano’s lovely B&B. Just as good as the first! We had a lovely room with a big new bathroom. Everything you could ask for. Stefano certainly covers all his bases. Very happy with everything. The breakfast made by Stefano superb! Easy parking, great if you have a hire car.

Enjoyable stay in beautiful Sycracuse
We had a really nice stay, parking was easy in cul de sac. . Stefano served the most amazing breakfasts and gave good advice on restaurants and places to see. Our room was very nice on the first floor, dear Stefano carried our suitcases up for us. The bathroom was very small but adequate.

What a sensational B & B. Located at the end of a street about 6 km out of town across the bay. Parking is in the quiet street in front of the B&B very safe. We were in the grey room on the top floor with our large balcony, the room is a good size with a small hall & narrow bathroom the other end. If you have a choice definitely our pick, but saying that the other rooms are also very lovely and have their own balcony. Views from the large balcony are sensational, one end looking over the wet lands with flamingoes strolling about also looking over the bay to town & the tourist island, from the other end views of the other side of the bay & the Mussel & clam farms. The room is well set out even with a cloths airier & pegs, great when your travelling for 3 months. Our recommendation is the grey room for the balcony & views. TV has English channels. This is a bonus as we have found this is not the case in our travels at a B&B. The Breakfast is excellent, Stefano caters for each couples dietary needs. Provided in the garden which is also a lovely setting. We had the opportunity to meet the whole family, very lovely friendly people and made us feel very welcomed. Stefano gave us some great tips on where we should visit and all whilst different excellent. We would say the best B&B in Italy and we have visited many in our 11 weeks stay so far here. Nice and comfy rooms with excellent breakfast. Beautiful location and views of the lagoon and sea. Stefano, the owner, is a great host. He went out of his way to help us replace a broken rental car, which is not easy in Sicily! We can definitely recommend staying there!

Great location very quiet and nice villa! Stefano is a great host and his breakfast is really really good! Very pet friendly and everything was clean and close by ortigia/beaches nearby! Also it is next to a saline area where you can see flamingos 🦩!
