Great economy accommodation. well ran and very clean. Amazing location in the busy area so traffic noise an issue but windows are good. Well recommended.

Hostel Agata is centrally located; plenty of options as to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Agata, the owner, is a nice and welcoming person. My place whenever I go back to Palermo.

On the arrival day, the owner never sent me a message on how or where to check in. Luckily, i am smart enough to google and ask people on the building. Finally, I managed to find my way to the unit after hours of finding it. The lady owner didn't bother to apologise that they didn't send any message, but well, just one night, so i didn't bother it much.

What a great team of this place of residence, the center of Palermo, we were left with such good warm emotions, clean, every day cleaning, and breakfasts are simply delicious, you will not regret, Grazie🫶❤️❤️🔥who will say hello 🫂

The location is great. Rooms along the main street can be affected by the sound of cars, so I think they are suitable for people who are confident in their sleep.

A very pleasant stay
The stay was very enjoyable, the photos on the website are old and the hostel is not as new looking as in the photos.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room itself was comfortable and the hostel was very central to all the amenities.
My only issue was that the street was very noisy, a lot of police car sirens and loud motorbikes late at night.
I had earplugs which helped with the problem and I am sure that every hotel/hostel on the road has the same issues

First off, it is made clear in the description, but this is not a hotel with a full time reception. This did make check in and check out much harder as communication wasn't instant. To say the hotel has parking is basically saying that you can park a car in Palermo. I believe there is a valet parking facility around the corner but we struggled to get to it due to road closures.
Room was very large and had good aircon and a spacious bathroom although the shower was not the best. Bed was comfortable.
Now the tricky bit... Location.... Great for seeing the sites... Terrible for noise. We probably had it worse as our room overlooked the main road and we were there over a weekend, but the volume of noise throughout Saturday night was deafening. Groups shouting... Mopeds revving... Cars blaring out music... Was impossible to sleep much. Sunday was better but it's noisy from early morning. Perhaps different rooms don't have the same problem but it massively affected our opinion of the hostel.

I’ve never been to a worse hostel than this one! As a big group we had made a reservation with prepayment but when we arrived the owner splitted us up on two different places (more than 500m from each other). Some of us were put in a broom closet where they had put some beds. In other rooms they had put more beda as they had no rooms left anymore (even though we had made the reservation with prepayment and we were promised a double bed room).. Even animals would not sleep there so we moved some to a third place. We had to pay the full price even though we had 500€ expenses due to needed movements in other hotels.
Don’t book here and don’t believe what they promise you! Don’t make any prepayments!
