Exclusive Dependance in Palermo

The rooms was clean, the bed was sketchy.
Bathroom was nice.
Service was lackluster.
The location was great if you don't mind noise at night. It was right over a party street.

Family owed. Mom is honest, son likes to joke. I respect family working together. Bathrooms remodeled, updated and clean. I used the front bathrooms. The 1 to the left spaces one to the right has a bidet. The one in the bedroom was ok. Plenty of sinks and bathrooms. No stove. Environment clean and chill. Loved the privacy curtain on each bed. Plenty of storage space like 3 shelves, even one with a lock they give you a key. Can store luggage before and after at no cost and they secure it. You still have access to the facility just not the bedroom. There are some hostels charging for storage and every little thing. The upside it's clean and they have key lock storage they provide. I seen cleaning happening all day every day. Even the outside by the owner sweating and mopping the cobble stone. Mattress are comfortable, you have your own fan, shelve and outlet plugs for the most part at each bed. I think 1 person didn't have a outlet beside the bed. Outlets in the living room. Like 3 balconies. For me it was the smoking. If you smoke on a balcony with the door open it's going to come back in the house. I was so tired of the smoking I could rip my nose off. Vending machine inside. Noisy but that's because it's really in the middle of everything, prefect location for fun. Activities outside the door, literally. Can walk from ferry 30mins and really a straight walk, however GPS has to many turns it doesn't have to be and a bus can take you back straight down the main street, buses are a few blocks away, like 4 mins. Food and drinks, bars and restaurants all right there. Marina within a few streets and the ferry bus is by there also. Can go eat by the Marina a new area. Nothing further then a 40min walk. The center, street food all less then 30mins walk away and you want to walk to see it all. Basically you walk outside the door and your starting a journey. Art museum on the next block and with that being said it's going to be noisy outside. The other residents didn't shut the balcony doors so not much sleep for me, but it would have also been maybe to hot. If you go to sleep not the place, if you want to relax and sleep 3/5, if you want location and fun prefect 5/5. Hostel experience 5/5

It's a great property and we don't know why there are complains of it being dirty or the staff being rude. My girlfriend pushed me to stay here especially because Pia had genuine responses to the bad reviews. It was indeed a great choice. The interior is amazing (love how decor has been thoughtfully put together by Pia and Yuri), the property is very clean, the location is just amazing (the historical places, bars, restaurants, cafes, train station, bus station everything is within 900m). The washrooms are spacious and have jetsprays as well! The most fun bit of Exclusive Dependence is Yuri, the owner. He took us out at night to party with him and has been a great host throughout.
